My partner and I visited this fabulous restaurant on Sunday evening July 13th and what a find, the food we ordered was absolutely fantastic, all home made and delicious, we could not fault the food and would recommend this restaurant for quality food.

Cosy restaurant, attentive waitress, well-priced and GREAT food. Unusual and delicious black pudding starter (wife had tomato and feta salad); delicious and generous duck a l'orange (wife had gamberetti). If I can think of any criticism is that the house wine was only ok, bit it was ok. But I'll be back next time I'm in Cockermouth - it'll be... More

I was recommended by a friend for the awesome fillet steak with a bed of flattend Yorkshire pud and patee. Of course I went for rare, it was perfect. My girlfriends meal was faultless too. I will be back, sooner than later. Thank you

We dined here one evening during a visit to the Lakes and were delighted with the food, service and ambiance of this small bistro. They have only about 6-8 tables and the room feels quite intimate. The menu is mainly Italian with a selection of English favourites. The main courses are about £8-9 for pasta and £14-20 for other dishes.... More

Somehow we missed this place when walking through Cockermouth on a very wet Saturday evening, but found it on the Sunday and were glad we did. It appears to be a converted shop and lacked a little atmosphere, but the waitress was lovely and coped well on her own as the place was fairly busy. The food was tasty and... More

On a cold, stormy evening our party of four were the only customers. But the effort to get there was well rewarded. A very friendly atmosphere, and a really good choice of dishes. Food was well cooked, and not over facing. Good sweet selection and coffee as well. We will certainly visit again when in Cockermouth.

We found this place via trip advisor and before I write anymore of my review, I will say that it was grouped with the Italian restaurants and in my opinion it isn't really an Italian restaurant - slightly disappointing as it wasn't what was expected. However we weren't disappointed when we got there. The waitress who served us was extremely... More
