Called in on Saturday for lunch. Haven't been for years but what pleasant surprise. Although it was very busy there was plenty available seating in a lovely warm and well appointed bar (with big crackling fire!), Didn't wait long for service and staff were were pleasant and helpful. We had the best fish and chips ever! Very clean and tidy... More

Popped in here on Sunday afternoon for a beer with a group of friends. The staff were very efficient but not at all friendly. Nice place but no atmosphere whatsoever. Shame.

Expensive drinks, over 15 for two pints of real ale and yow jaeger bombs. Not a place to go if you're 'on the lash'. Would be nice for a couples/family meal

Rocked up here for a late lunch with my elderly parents and hungry four year old post two other places being closed for lunch. The location is great and it was blowing gale so Windermere looked very dramatic. The sandwiches were good and served in brioche buns but I would have preferred it if they hadn't grated the cheese in... More

Really nice place - food ok perhaps we made wrong choice. Lovely real fire with good choice of real ales - which were very nice. Staff brilliant very friendly & helpful. This place is right on the lake & it nearly flooded. Would definitely come again, might even stay.

We recently visited this pub / restaurant on our recent holiday to Limefitt Park on numerous occasions on our various walks with our dogs. I would recommend this restaurant / pub to anyone for food and drink. It has a perfect setting on the lake side where you can watch the boats coming in and out. The service is always... More

This is a stylish and quite classy establishment, often very busy during the summer months, not surprisingly given it's enviable position right by the lake. There is an extensive beer garden and even a jetty stretching right out into the lake which is wonderful in warm. dry weather. Large glass windows maximise the picturesque views from inside the building which... More

We dropped in here for a couple of beers after a day out, and really liked the place so we came back for the evening meal. We had veg soup and saute mushrooms for starters, and steak & ale pie for a main. Onion rings for a side dish. The food was excellent, the service was great, the portions were... More
