My family has just left Ambleside for different corners of the country after a lovely rain free week. We had breakfast in Daisies 5 times and we really could not fault it. The staff were very friendly and attentive each and every visit and the food was light and so tasty. I don't do beans so was asked if i... More

Had breakfast here with our pooch on the mornings of the 2nd and the 3rd of November. It wasn't just good because we were able to take our dog it was great food regardless, two of our family had the vegetarian option and they rated it highly as well. An easy recommendation !

We popped into this cafe for lunch. The food was tasty and we were presented with good service. My girlfriend had an English breakfast and the cafe happily swapped her beans for an extra hash brown instead. I had the home-made burger which was great (but slightly too salty). Also, the portion sizes are huge! We had a pot of... More

We went to Daisy's Cafe this morning for breakfast on a horrible wet day in the Lake District. The welcome we got was very friendly as we found a table and both ordered the full breakfast and tea. I don't eat black pudding, but the waitress was very happy to swap it for an extra fried egg for me. The... More

We had a Sunday morning breakfast here, lovely little cafe, very popular, we got in just before the rush and they were turning people away. Had a fantastic cooked breakfast which was fresh and delicious. Finished off with a nice latte, well done!

We had lunch in Daisy's Cafe in Ambleside on a cold, wet day in October. One of the specials for lunch was baked potato with chilli, salad, sour cream and cheese. The presentation was very good and the food was excellent; there was a large baked potato well filled with chilli with a side dish of grated cheese and salad,... More

Friendly, good service, felt welcome. Nice decor and relaxed friendly atmosphere. Lovely food, delicious baked potato with tons of tuna and cheese and a good salad. A welcome place for lunch cheered up a wet day. Dog friendly to. Would definitely return.
