Very nice Tapa's

Visiting for the second time some years later since our first visit and we were not disappointed. The Tapa's on offer was substantial and as none meat eaters there was plenty to choose from. Between 4 of us it was recommended that we shared 8 Tapa's but we soon found ourselves ordering more and... read more

We first off went to the sister restaurant 'Lucys on a plate', but they were full, which was impressive for a sleepy village! So we decided on Lucy4 and I'm so glad we did! The waitress and two waiters were very friendly and helpful, I'm gluten intolerant and they organised a seperate menu for me, they made up cocktails for... More

This tucked away tapas bar comes highly recommended. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The staff were very friendly with the manager leading the way (such a chirpy friendly lady), the service was excellent as was the food. Lots of choice especially as one of our group was vegetarian .

We liked the look of this restaurant as we like tapas and we hit on a great place to eat. The staff were really nice and helped us to chose our tapas and helped to make the evening really enjoyable. The restaurant itself is a really interesting place to eat on 3 levels and has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.... More

After looking at two tapas bars we unfortunately picked this one. When I think of tapas I look forward to breads, meats and cheese but I was very disappointed by the poor and limited menu. I found the seating uncomfortable and the table wobbled. Although the staff were nice I felt it was too much being asked if everything was... More

I rung a few days before to book for New Year's Eve and spoke at length about my wife having coincide disease and her not been allowed to have gluten in any of her food as she would be on pain for weeks after. I was assured that most of the menu was gluten free so I was very annoyed... More

We turned up on spec to a busy restaurant but they were very accommodating and fitted us in. The waiter and waitress were very attentive, we didn't have to wait long for food or drinks and when the food came it was superb. Next time we visit Ambleside, we're going to make sure we have a reservation!

Young couple out for dinner, we had previously been when it was a wild tick box menu. Since then it has become a bit more expensive and the menu has shortened. Despite this, we had the special of the day and some extras plus a bottle of wine (£25 a head). The food was really tasty, nice and fun to... More
