Good variety of vegetarian Indian food, but it was simply too oily. I can't swim, but I'm sure I could walk on water if I ate there everyday! Good taste but they must work on reducing the oil content !

the food was absolutely disgusting! the service was hit and miss. the place was rammed but i have no idea why.... oh wait because it was full of drunks and youll eat anything when youre 6 pints deep! avoid like the plague
lovely restaurant though the cutlery a bit old, great food however, service was good, very reasonably priced, amazing pashwari naan, vindaloo hit the spot, my mates madras could have done with been hotter though, great place to go for a relaxed atmosphere and decent ruby
We were welcomed in with big smiles and friendly banter from the owner! The staff were so accomodating considering there was 10 of us! Polite and friendly and the food was lovely! Best Naan breads I've ever had as well...yummy!! Me and my partner love this place!
Always excellent food and the staff courteous, friendly and helpful, if you don't see it on the menu they will attempt to supply it.

Yes the decor is dated, but the atmosphere of Rays is well worth a look. You can add to your night by bringing you own booze. A rare novelty in this age of when even small cafes having licences to sell alcohol.
I have arranged many nights out to start in rays and I have never had a bad meal....
