Been using Rays Place for roughly 20 years and never had a bad meal from them and I've also never found an Indian better. Would recommend highly there Thanazia and there Garlic nan breads. Ray and his staff are very genuine friendly people. Keep up the good work guys 👍

So much food! So many flavours! Such incredible value! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, service was attentive and efficient. And they've been there since 1980's! Definitely worth a visit.

So much red food die in the food - this was a trip down memory lane back to 'curry shops' of the 80s... trouble was not a particularly good one. Ease up on the red food die and tacky lights... Indian food is much more sophisticated than this old fashioned late nite boozed up fare...

I've been a regular at rays place for the past 8 years, and just love love love their food! Can't find anywhere else that cooks a lamb tikka passanda like rays place, its just the best! No watery curries, generous portions - the naan breads are huge! Staff are always friendly and like to chat with their customers. Always made... More

Myself and my family have been going regularly for over 30 years and the food is spot on. Best curry we've ever had, friendliest staff who remember your order down to every last detail. They go well out of their way to make you happy, comfortable and satisfied with the food. Without a doubt the best naan breads going (especially... More

I've been visiting Ray's Place for over ten years now, and still go back fairly regularly. Very surprised at bad reviews, I've always found the food to be good, the prices good and the service good. Maybe not gourmet curry, but still very satisfied as I always have been. Ideal for couples, families and groups. The only quibble I have... More

I lived in Hull up until recently and Rays was somewhere where I often ate with friends. The food is good, freshly cooked and tasty. It can be a little greasy but the flavour is there and the menu is quite extensive, with staff always willing to amend dishes if requested. The best thing about Rays Place is the staff.... More

I cannot understand these bad reviews, I have been visiting Rays for over 10 years now and have never had a bad meal, all staff are friendly and helpful they will accommodate any change you want to make with your meal. The food is beautiful and very reasonably priced and you can take your own alcohol...what more could you ask... More

I've been going to Rays for 30 years and have seen it change out of all recognition. AJ, the manager is currently pulling out all the stops in improving his restaurant. The old place is gradually getting smartened up, the service is exceptional, and the food is great! Don't believe the reviews that say the curries are watery and the... More
