I came here last night with my friend on the off chance there may be one or two vegan-friendly options. I wasn't disappointed! The waiter was extremely helpful and patiently pointed out several items which could be made vegan-friendly by leaving out cheese or substituting butter for olive oil etc. We shared a garlic tomato chilli bread, olives, bruschetta and... We went to the newly named 'Gusto's' for a Sunday evening meal. The food was brilliant and the ice cream was the best I've ever tasted! The waiter and waitress were fantastic and friendly and we had a really great laugh with them. The atmosphere and decor was lovely! Would DEFINITELY recommend.

What a lovely gorgeous and homely little place. If you want a little piece of Italy in hull try here. The staff are friendly and warmly and food...... beautiful!! Make sure you book as it's small and gets full very easily.

I was a big fan of La Perla, the food and ambience were always spot on and the chef was always happy to cook to order as are most good chefs (having a bit of extra chilli in your food, or a bit of chicken on your pizza not a big deal right?). I have eaten twice here since it... More

It is now called Gusto's...no matter. Excellent service; friendly and professional yet relaxed. Decent Sav' Blanc; Three starters...Bruschetta; Moz' Caprese and a Pate, all tasty. Calzone very good; Lasagne rather bland & a Spaghetti dish (unsure which variety) was also well cooked and tasty. No puddings, finished with coffee. Very enjoyable evening and a nice atmosphere (the place was very... More

Couldn't get a table anywhere down prinny ave so ended up here, thankfully the owner knows how to turn a table. Starter of Parma ham and mozzarella was simple but beautiful, quality ingredients. Main of lobster pasta great pasta, great sauce. It is being turned into Another Italian, I believe the owners son is taking over who runs di gianni,... More

I've been here several times and always loved the food and atmosphere however, on my most recent visit noticed a sign to say they are closing down. What a great shame, I have enjoyed many lovely nights here in this un assuming Italian restaurant. The service on my last visit seemed a little flat but you can't blame them for... More

Great food, pastas are tasty and the pizzas are good too. For the price the meats should come with chips or potatoes and salad or veg though. But an excellent choice for a special occasion ( wish I could afford to go more often lol)

I have visited La Perla many times and never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the staff are wonderful. The specials on the board are well worth a try. The spicy tomato bread for starters is the best anywhere. The restaurant is quite small and so makes for a nice atmosphere. Prices are quite reasonable for such quality dishes.... More
