Awful pies

We ate at this restaurant because it is next to our hotel. We both ordered pies but the pastry on them was extraordinarily tough. The serving staff were very good, all of them quietly efficient, but they were badly let down by the quality of the food. If we stay in the area again then we shall seek... read more

Don't know if there enough room to list the faults with this place!!! Firstly being sat near to the self serve drinks counter and watching the Costa Coffee machine only inches from the edge go into self clean cycle spluttering boiling water and steam everywhere. The next horrendous near miss was watching my mother in law snapping at the waiter... More

Arrived 5pm Friday so i expected it to be busy BUT i waited 15 minutes at the bar to place my order and gave up. I wasn't prepared to wait an equal amount of time maybe longer for food. Other tables had been waiting some time and had complained. Insufficient staff or inefficient use of staff not sure which. I... More

Relaxed environment, children's play area for both big and small. Tasty food, even refill mornings for coffee lovers. Great value!

I ate in this restaurant as it was attached to the hotel I was staying in. The service was good, quality fine, all you expect from a Brewers Fayre really.

The pub part is normally good for family eating out - I wouldn't recommend the unlimited chicken buffet option because it was all a little bit dry and looked like it had been sat out on the hotplate for a while, the chips were really dry and the 'salad' bar consisted of half a bowl of lettuce and a few... Even had a few receptions Here such as weddings and they was brilliant. I'd say the best thing about home farm is the breakfast, first for... More
