I came here for the first time last month with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised. Our starter was stuffed peppers - very nice! My main was a halloumi wrap, although they brought out a ham wrap to start with and I had to wait a while for them to re-make mine while my other half tucked into his roast... More

Excellent restaurant. Excellent service, fast but not too quick. Great menu, vast choice tasty food definitely not pub grub but not pretentious. Friendly staff and very helpful. Great puddings I would recommend waffle with banana parfait ice cream and banana parfait. Will definitely come again. Great for all ages and a section in the pub to suit all

We went for dinner with family. The restaurant was decorated in a very interesting way and was busy with lots of atmosphere. The food was excellent. I had the slow cooked pork. It was delicious, melt in the mouth. Everyone else had delicious options also. Lovely puds. The staff were friendly and efficient. A good find

Hadn't been to the Hare for a few years so revisited twice in the last month. Once with friends and for our wedding anniversary yesterday. Glad to report that both visits were excellent. Food was imaginative, perfectly cooked and presented. Service was first rate and we were made to feel very welcome by Tina and her staff. Needless to say... More

We love this place - been celebrating and bringing friends & family here for 20+ yrs. We booked a table for 5 and phoned to say we would be 15mins late. Think we missed our slot because it too 1.5 hours to have our main course. By the youngest of our group was past eating and Grandpa, whose birthday it... More

We booked at the last minute and were delighted with the food, service and ambience. The food was perfect you couldn't fault it. I had the risotto and I've never tasted better. The girl that served us was chatty and friendly and made the meal most enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place you wont be disappointed.

Sunday lunch here with the family was as good as ever. An excellent choice including a varied children's menu. I had the most delicious sea trout in a seafood sauce with crab mousse on top, unusual and very good. Lovely friendly atmosphere and efficient service despite the fact that they were packed out.

The Hare has always been a firm favourite for me. It's always busy at the weekend, but you have to expect that in a popular pub. I took my family there for a celebration lunch on a busy Bank Holiday Monday and the food, the service and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The staff were friendly and informed, the... More

Had some nice meals here but the last meal I had will defiantly be the last! The beef Sunday roast was probably the worst roast I have ever had. I had to send it back once so I decided to eat it on the second attempt because I was starving and not to cause a fuss. There was something on... More
