We used to enjoy a meal at ID, where the very friendly staff would prepare me a meal off the menu as I am a vegetarian and a regular customer. I was so sad to see this restaurant is now closed. There is an Imperial Dynasty in West Malling I think, but it's a bit too far for us. We... More

We normally visit ID at west Malling which is brilliant in every way. So we thought Tunbridge Wells would be the same. We were very disappointed . Food was just not well cooked, and a bit tasteless, chicken & duck tough and grisly. What a shame after our visit to WM. manager, however was nice and friendly .

We had booked dinner for the family (eight in all) at the Imperial Dynesty with our dear ones. It was a good Chinese meal and the owner/staff were attentive. We had 3 each (waived the 4 rule) - this was enough for eight including children D SET DINNER ID Mixed Hors Dʼoeuvre Crispy Aromatic Szechuan Duck (served with Pancakes &... More

I have been coming here for family meals literally for years on a fairly regular basis. The food is consistently very good and the owner is always friendly & welcoming and will happily adjust any dishes to suit your palette.

So there's a lot going for this restaurant - we had a great time with friends. The service was very good and attentive and the interior of the restaurant is modern and stylish. We didn't feel rushed at all, and could have had the table for the whole evening. The wine list is reasonable and not over priced. The food... More

We like our Chinese and unfortunately we ordered too much. Perhaps we should have been advised so. Mixed starters arrived quickly: prawn toast, ribs, "seaweed", chicken satay and spring rolls. For main we had special fried rice, Singapore noodles, crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken, barbecue pork and sizzling prawns and scallops. For the two of us this was... More

The problem with the tripadvisor rating system is that it treats all venues that may serve some food as somehow equal, so that coffee-bars, delis, and bakeries are pooled with proper restaurants. This is like saying that restaurants should be categorised with coffee-bars, bakeries and delis because they serve coffee, bread and cheese during a meal. There should be a... More

My husband and I went for dinner here after work on Friday. We have had take away from here a number of times but thought we would try out the restaurant. We went for the set menu B, it was really good. The food is very fresh, tasty, good value and the service is also great. The restaurant was very... More

If you like Cantonese and Szechuanese cooking, then England is something of a wasteland outside Central London's Gerrard Street and environs and one or two spots on the fringes. Not much is going to match those standards, and even there you have to know where to go. In the local and even the county context, however, the Imperial Dynasty is... More

Regularly get take-out from here, and sometimes eat in. Happy to keep going back. Not going to be award winning but good quality.
