The best coffee in town!

Food is great- tasty and imaginative salads and scrummy cakes. But for me the highlight is the quality of the coffee. A bohemian feel so not for those who like a posh tea shoppe!

Popped in here for a quick lunch and coffee as this place had been recommended by friends. It seemed a popular choice as it was quite busy. We both chose to try out that day's specials - a roasted fig salad and lamb casserole, both which were very good and reasonably priced too. We'd come again with the kids, another... More

Stepping out of the rain into The Black Dog was heaven-sent today. The owners, Matt and Amy, have created a really hip bistro that is warm and friendly, unfussy and unhurried, and serves delicious food and amazing home-made cakes. What more can you ask for? All of the ingredients are locally sourced so how can I have possibly missed this... More

Had coffee here a few times so thought we'd try lunch. Same again. Nice friendly staff. Well presented salad and perfectly serviceable chips. And the coffee is still great.

Amazing coffee, perfectly made every time. Great cakes. And fabulous breakfasts... Especially if your toddler doesn't spill your coffee into your breakfast! A bit snug so best to visit without a pram.

Call me old fashioned but I tend to think that coffee shops should serve great coffee. Most don't. This one soesdoes and does it very nicely. Anything more needed? Not really.

Easily the best breakfast in Tunbridge Wells. Great coffee and homemade cakes too. Staff always friendly and keen to help in any way they can.

Dropped in on the off chance for a late breakfast. Were seated quickly and served promptly too. Sandwiches were good with quality ingredients to the fore. Coffee little too strong for our liking but understand that's how they like it!
