Great selection of delicious loose leaf teas served in pots which provide 2 and a half cups for only £1.80! I had a mushroom bruschetta which was absolutely fantastic and my friend had the soup of the day which she said was delicious. We all had a white chocolate brownie which I enjoyed but the texture was more like shortbread... More

A favourite place for a freshly cooked breakfast and proper, fresh pot of tea. Always bustling at the weekend. Little bit slow with the drinks which came after the food. But still a great cafe.

Love visiting the black dog for Breakfast. This is easily the best coffee in town. And served double shot, which should be standard with good coffees!! These guys clearly care and take great pride in the ethos of this cafe. Breakfast options are good although I do find it to be quite unpredictable. Service is always polite and helpful and... More

We have always been big fans of the Black Dog cafe from the first day it has opened it's doors. Good chilled music provides a great ambience and the good service and food are accompanied by some of the best coffee in Tunbridge Wells.

Plus you can request single-shot if preferred. I had the turkey and spinach stew which was very tasty, my friend had her usual scrambled egg and smoked salmon, whilst my... More

Have been to the Black Dog a number of times over the years - the food is good, the coffee is great and the atmosphere is a bit of Australia in TW. My one big complaint though is the extraction - after going in there, you stink of a chips/cooking smell for the rest of the day. Wish they'd sort... More

Title says it all. Service is friendly and quite fast. Good selection of cakes but every time I order coffee, it turns up luke warm! Drives me mad as their cakes are good and they're family friendly. I just like hot coffee.
