The families with children next to us were being pampered it was like we didn't exist. Drinks took just as long. The bill came it was the incorrect bill but he was... More

My girlfriend and I shared the two person Sunday roast deal. It was absolutely brilliant. So so tasty, one of our favourites yet. Can't wait to return

Excellent food, really nice atmosphere and service was great. Had the Whitebait followed by the Steak and Lobster and a sundae for dessert. Really lovely night out.

Tunbridge wells isn't exactly a cheap town, generally speaking. Most places charging near London prices for things, and Bar and Grill is no exception. It is a well presented place, modern with a great outdoor space with a retractable roof for days when the weather isn't favourable. The staff are well presented and fairly helpful. The food is a fair... More

i was lucky enough to be taken for lunch by my daughter. I arrived early and queued patiently for several customers in front of me to check in at the front desk. I was pointed to the barwher a small (175cl) glass of Malbec was £7. For starters, I had mushroom risotto with overcooked rice and slimy (tinned?) mushrooms. The... More

I've been here 5 or 6 times over the last few years and except for an Xmas party where we had to pre order the did had always been excellent. My last visit however was different, I ordered the Chateau Briand which is for 2 to share and it was exquisite. I've eaten steak in many different restaurants and countries... More

This restaurant has lovely food, amazing atmosphere but the service is dreadful, it lets it down so much, also there was no toilet paper! Would I go back? ...no the service was so bad that it's not worth the money!

I've eaten here a lot over the last few years and I have to say it was fabulous when it first opened but seems to have gone downhill over the last year; either they've become complacent or there is something up with the manager/ chef. The service is generally slow; on our last visit we had to ask three times... More
