Welcome to the Toby Carvery Thanet. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Margate’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

The breakfast wasn't worth it there was no hash browns or fried bread. It was all cold even the coffee. I won't be going again. The location is good and it was clean and tidy.

We decided to pop in for a big breakfast before a long journey with a group of 11. The food was delicious and all ready for us to help ourselves. The food was immediately replaced when items were running low. Great value for money and we will definitely return here again for breakfast!

We visited Sunday 11th January for breakfast with our niece, I knew what to expect but neither my partner nor our niece had been here before. They were both shocked to see what you get for the price as it was £7 each for unlimited servings of tea and coffee, unlimited breakfast buffet with a small portion mushrooms. Everything was... You know what to expect at the Toby so we come here very often ...... foods always great and really good value but because of this and the popularity and close proximity to Westwood Cross shops, it tends to get very busy...we found tha between 3pm and 5pm was a good time but that could always change now the summer... Took my son for the Sunday carvery. The turkey was very nice, the veg and yorkshire pudding again were good. Whilst the potatoes were ok they weren't crispy and everyone knows you can't beat crispy roasties. Plus the gravy was very thin. The waitress, Shelley, was great and arranged for my son to have brownies without the sundae. We didn't... More

We went to this restaurant as it was next door to our Travelodge for our evening meal around 18.30 at that time we were told that it was a 15 minute wait, however after only 4 minutes we were called up for our meal, as only one person was serving at the carvery it was a very slow line but... More

Not that impressed really. Had the carvery. Meat was chewy, veg choice not as varied as other chains we've visited. Only one person on the carvery, which made service very slow, as they had to renew the meat/veg as well as serve. Only holidaying there so will not visit again. Would I go again if I lived there? Probably not.

Visited this restaurant for lunch on Good Friday. Quite busy, but staff were very pleasant despite their workload. The carvery was great value and tasty. Pleased to have a few choices for dessert which were gluten free!

Two adults, with an under 3 year old went for an early evening meal. Got met and shown to our table very quickly and the waitress come over to offer drinks… we then had to chase up for a child plate (which is separate from the "normal" plates) and then the service whilst forthcoming, did feel that is was just...
