My wife and I are truly sorry that you had a bad experience at our establishment and we have taken all your comments on board. We take customer service very seriously and if or when a member of staff lets us know there has ben a problem, we have always taken the time to speak to the customer in person... More

Enjoyed a good main meal and dessert. Thought wine was expensive. The waitresses were not very attentive as we had to ask for drinks, to order our main meal and desserts. Overall a 5 out of 10, if waitresses were more attentive I would say 8 out of 10. What a shame, hope they read this as atmosphere was good.

We've been dining here for several years and it has become one of our regular haunts. During this time, the staff (and successive owners) have made an effort to get to know us (and us, them). We find the service is very good (yes, you get the odd glitch, but where don't you?) and we've never had a duff meal... More

I have been here a few times and on this occasion I met a friend for coffee and lunch. The coffee tastes good, great value for money. We had a bacon sandwich which again was good. The only negative that I have noticed every time I have been here is the waitresses. They are not that welcoming and by that... More

Came for lunch on our first day and breakfast on our last - both were good. Plenty of well cooked and tasty food at a very good price. Nice place to sit and watch the people go by. Good music and a great cross-section of customers - obviously very popular.

5 of us went for lunch, no complaints about the food which is tasty and plentiful, we found it great value for money. Lovely white bait with granary bread and side salad for £6 and the jacket spuds were huge with plenty of filling and salad. Sitting inside at a window table overlooking the harbour is a great spot when... More

Since the bar has changed management the service is very poor. The staff make you feel like an inconvenience and they don't smile or make you feel welcome. We ordered drinks that didn't arrive but tables recently seated around us got drinks before us and when we asked for them, as the breakfast arrived, they apologised and said they would... More

The staff at Miles Bar are rude! Plain and simple. This used to be a place that ran on high standards, good quality and politeness and it's a shame that it has gone. I visited for breakfast with friends and was shocked to be served by a girl who did not have the courtesy to turn and face me when... More

Spent a glorious afternoon in the early spring sunshine outside the Miles Bar, good food, good service, great company. the sun went down and we all relocated inside only to be barked at by the owner for using a chair that was 'reserved' for people who were not arriving for several hours- how rude is this man? He is extremely... More
