it was really nice place for having delicious breakfast. It's value of money and nice service. We took 2sets of delicious royal poached eggs, American style pancakes, 2 coffees and we paid just 10£

Having the member of staff be so rude from moment order was placed to the time we left, after seeking me out to starring with disgust found her attuide disgusting. Also had the same member of staff at the Deal kent location be rude to me. Should... More

I am soo baffled when i read comments about the eight bells. We know the food isn't good quality and yet people right good comments. You also have entertainment from the morning from the regular yet disgraceful 'men' outside. You do not want to walk by hearing 'alright love' or even worse. If i were the manager i wouldn't tolerate... More

Cannot rave about the food , it was ok, just a typical medium standard type of place, food was ok, portions are never enough to satisfy so an addition is always required. Better off at the chippy. I actually counetd the chips on my plate , it amounted to 18. Yeah , chippy next time.

We visited the White Lion Restaurant and Pub once again after eating there in 2002. Nothing has changed and the food and service was as great as we remembered. The prices are very reasonable as are the drinks. It is centrally located in Dover and within walking distance of most hotels as well as the Dover Priory or train station.... More

Both had an very good VFM. Only drawback is running the drunks gauntlet outside front smoking area... Food was hot..and steak was cooked exactly to my liking rare/blue. Will definitely go back...just wish the front could be sorted somehow...for ambiance and service ...good. But Wetherspoons in Folkestone still wins

Great food, fantastic atmosphere, and awesome service, all at value pricing. Very broad menu, and the cheese & bacon burger I had for lunch today was the best I've had in years. Excellent.

Wetherspoons are a known quantity so you know what you'll get in a new town. We had a decent evening meal and drinks for a good price, nice atmosphere too.
