Enjoyable lunch

We visited lunchtime today, have had few lunchtime meals here. I have always found it to be good value. There is a good selection of dishes and they have always been cooked well, tasty and hot. There are a couple of things which could be improved on ie I find the chairs very low which can make... read more

It's a reasonably cheap place to eat, but the food is not anything to shout about, some dishes were cold and the seating is uncomfortable wooden seats with the tables too close together, the waiters only seem interested in selling drinks. Unimpresive.

So disappointing. Chicken marinated in concealed, slimy curry. Anything that was coloured red left behind an acrid taste. The toilets were unclean and a health hazard. I will never visit again.

It is what it is really - all the standard stuff with a good selection of vegetable dishes. The one thing I was impressed with was that the food was piping hot which is often a complaint of mine in any buffet restaurant. A nice cheap lunch a great with kids as it's next to the cinema. All in all... More

Not too crowded and open on a Sunday Evening. Very much like the Real China in Cheltenham, Glos.,which we frequent every week or so, particularly if we are going to the Cinema.Well Done thanks

The food here is cheap enough, but sadly in this world you get what you pay for, and most of the food wasn't nearly good enough. The pancakes were hard and stuck together, and a lot of the food was stone cold. The staff weren't particularly friendly, but what do you expect for £6 a head? The worst thing though... More

Visited on a Tuesday evening. Restaurant was virtually empty - a few customers and a semi-comatose member of staff. Shown to a table, thrown some miss-matched cutlery as an after-thought, then left to get on with it. Food was dire - not much that you would want to eat through choice, and some of the self-service trays had clearly been... More

If this is what "real china" food is like they can keep it. Not much selection in food and what was there was cold. Made one plate up which I didn't eat as chicken looked under cooked. One of my friends threw up in the toilet. Asked to see the manager. The reply I got was he's eating. I told... More

We went the other Sunday around 5pm and it was very disappointing! We have been many times but the last 3 visits have not been good! The food looked and tasted like it had been there all day!! The tables were sticky and the glasses and plates were dirty! And don't even get me started on the toilets! ! There... More
