Here with my parents and my son to celebrate his 21st birthday. The food was very good, beautiful presentation and so very favoursome. Wines were very nice too. The staff very attentive without being intrusive. Desserts were divine!! I will definitely be back

We were staying in the Abode hotel and obviously due to the British weather didn't want to trapse around looking for somewhere to eat. We asked to be seated straight away and they obliged (as we were hungry). There were a choice of two menus and we were both spoilt for choice. The food arrived and it was heaven on... More

This was our first time at Abode Restaurant. We were there on a Monday for lunch. We thought the food was very good and attractively prepared. The service was a little inattentive but I wouldn't let that stop me from trying it again.

Very impressed with service given, staff were helpful, friendly and observant, as had already recognized my dietary needs being heavily pregnant when it came to ordering from the menu and had informed the chef so that they could make the necessary changes to the cooking prior to me checking.. Food was beautifully presented, and very tasty even if some of... More

Had Sunday lunch yesterday at Abode and was very disappointed . We have been on a few occasions and previously enjoyed the med-rare roast beef but the menu yesterday was very limited and the only roast was chicken . I opted for the chicken and my husband the braised shin of beef. The portions were extremely small and my tiny... More

Although the quality of the food was delicious the meal was spoilt by various incidents. We had an enthusiastic waited who blagged he way through the meal describing the 2 house rose wines as being one very dry, the other very sweet, of which they were neither. He persuaded us to order extra vegetables which were forgotten and eventually arrived... More

The restaurant is much better than the champagne bar. We ate dinner here on a Saturday night. The food was amazing and our party agreed it was on the list of top meals, and close to the top. The wine choice was extensive and we ended up with a white, a red and a desert wine that was recommended to... More

We had a romantic dinner here with my wife, couple of days ago. Definitely value for money, 3 courses for £17.90, and the A la Carte Menu as well still reasonable priced, just the wine list is bit pricey. The quality of the service and the food is up to Michelin standard. Only one suggestion for the management: please require... More

We've not been to a Michael Caine's restaurant before but as we had read such good reviews we were looking forward to dining there. We had booked the pre theatre offer set menu, which is available between 6 and 7pm. As we didn't want to rush our meal we arrived when the restaurant opened at 5.30pm. We opted for the... More
