Hi all, just little something about us here at Willows. We are family owned and run, we opened our doors in Jan 2012 after traveling around the world. Whilst traveling we learnt a great deal about how we wanted to share Willows with customers, we want all our customers to feel at home and share in our relaxed home from home.We specialise in high quality coffee and light lunches, we are only a small place with 4 tables. We serve freshly made sandwichs & baguettes, our bread is delivered fresh daily from our Village bakery. Our Coffee has been recognised by Coffee Culture & Excellence for its high quality, we make all our coffee the Aussie way. Which we learnt in Melbourne last year (2011), in Melbourne the coffee culture is of the highest quality and standards are second to none!! We would also recommend for the serious coffee lovers to try our 'Willows Vacuum Coffee' which your brew yourself at your table. It merges coffee / science / theatreall as one.We hope to see you all soon and say hi when you do come in.Take care & safe travels to you all.Willows Family

Best lunch place in town!

Love this place head here a lot for lunch during work and it is just lovely-the staff are always so nice and the food is gorgeous for a very reasonable price, especially if you eat out (can't really eat in anyway most days, so tiny!). It's cool and different but unpretentious and cosy. Would... read more

This is my favourite place in Canterbury to go to for lunch. Great range of sandwiches and, as a lover of breakfast, its great that you can order from the breakfast menu all day. The only downside is that its very small so not always guaranteed a seat. But if its good weather you can always take the sandwiches away... More

Small place but does knock out coffee - really top notch espresso. Melted cheese sandwiches also fantastic - real comfort food. Service is efficient and friendly. Only downside is if you are a larger group there may not be guaranteed enough place to sit - but worth trying to get a place.

This is a lovely small cafe decorated in a funky urban style and playing cool tunes. The grilled cheese sandwiches are awesome especially the mozzarella, avocado and sun dried tomato. A great place to snack and chill.

Rapidly becoming my favourite meeting place in Canterbury. Fantastic coffee, warm comfortable atmosphere. Slightly calmer for its location off the High street. Definitely worth a visit.

Been a frequent user of this great quirky little coffee shop for weeks as working close by, always great food service and coffee, today was the launch day of their Grilled Cheese toasted sandwich menu, which was described to me over morning coffee and had me salivating all morning and couldn't wait to get back there at lunch time to... What a great place for that coffee and cake, both were very good. A small and friendly place, just a few minutes walk away from the tourist centre of Canterbury, time to relax before a walk back or on the way to join your car at Castle Street car park
