My husband and I dined here as we had a 241 offer through our Taste card. The Parrot is a lovely old pub in the centre of Canterbury up an old cobbled street with friendly staff and a great tasty homemade menu. We had the pulled pork and a garlic bread for starters and I had the lamb whilst my... More

In a beautiful medieval building, just by the Roman wall and far enough off the beaten track to be peaceful on a Saturday lunchtime, you will find this delightful pub. The wine was good. The food was excellent. The service was swift and friendly. The courtyard garden provided lots of shade on a scorching day. It has every element of... More

The food was very nice with huge portions (we had some burgers and chicken pies). The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub atmosphere.

You should definitely be hungry when you go there, the portions are enormous. There is a kids menu and if you are really hungry,go for the pulled pork. It is a shame, there wasn't space for the clotted cream cheesecake anymore, will have that next time :-)

My Sister and Niece came down from Scotland to visit. We went to Canterbury for the day and found this pub tucked away from the main drag, it was on Tastecard list so decided to have lunch there. It was really tasty and great chips. Last night I went to see Dirty Dancing at Marlowe Theatre and before the show... More

Had lunch at the Parrott recently but have also eaten there before for Sunday lunch. Overall good food and would recommend, nice patio area and lovely historic pub.

We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Food is tasty and well presented, especially the sharing platters, staff are welcoming and make sure you take. Look at the amazing banqueting hall upstairs.
