Lovely pastries, relaxed atmosphere, and an opportunity to practice speaking French with the patron -- though not, unfortunately, with every member of staff! The café is in St Peter's Street (an extension of the High Street), hence the name. Recommended.

Have popped in here several times over the best couple of months as there is a lovely courtyard garden at the back, however we were not largely impressed by the quality of the coffee. Hopefully it was just an off day as we love coming here for bread and pastries.

Our favourite Canterbury watering hole! Cafe St.Pierre is such a refreshing change to the 'chain' artificial eateries that exist in most cities. Family owned and friendly with quality, freshly prepared food. Long may it continue!

Whether for a coffee, pastry or Croque Monsieur we have always had a good experience here and feel like it is stepping into a really good French cafe without having to cross the channel.

When you walk through the door you could be in Paris, authentic french looking cafe. I've been here a few times and the food is fresh and drinks are good too. Staff always seem friendly which is always important. Nice to sit outside too on the high street with a drink.

I have been here twice now and have enjoyed the baguettes on both occasions. This is a good French cafe. The service however has never been very good- the waitress didn't even bring us menus on our second trip (we sat outside) and didn't bother to return our greeting when we arrived, despite noticing us. She was too busy chatting... More

Best iced coffee I have ever had. Lovely food and very friendly service. Cafe is cute and the seating out front and back is nice. Nice to be outside of the hustle and bustle but still watch the people walk by.

From the decor to the ingredients to service: once you walk into Cafe St Pierre and the little bell on the door chimes, it is as if you have actually teleportedto France. This place is wonderful and authentic. Everything is fresh and the only problem I have here is deciding what to choose from as everything is so tempting. This... More
