This is not your usual cafe but one with unusual dishes with a Gallic flavour. Well worth visiting for a snack lunch.

This became my true saviour when i recently experienced Canterbury, a small but excellant flavoursome menu for a lunch stop with a great specials board also worth checking out. It does not stop there as the entrance through the pattisserie will have you staying for that course of fine pastries on offer. Pleasant and helpful service from the staff make... More

As I speak French, this is a charming café to practice my language skills in whilst eating traditional French cuisine. There are always daily specials and the outside area is lovely in the sunshine. Café St Pierre, j'adore !

Lovely pastries, relaxed atmosphere, and an opportunity to practice speaking French with the patron -- though not, unfortunately, with every member of staff! The café is in St Peter's Street (an extension of the High Street), hence the name. Recommended.

Have popped in here several times over the best couple of months as there is a lovely courtyard garden at the back, however we were not largely impressed by the quality of the coffee. Hopefully it was just an off day as we love coming here for bread and pastries.

Our favourite Canterbury watering hole! Cafe St.Pierre is such a refreshing change to the 'chain' artificial eateries that exist in most cities. Family owned and friendly with quality, freshly prepared food. Long may it continue!

Whether for a coffee, pastry or Croque Monsieur we have always had a good experience here and feel like it is stepping into a really good French cafe without having to cross the channel.

When you walk through the door you could be in Paris, authentic french looking cafe. I've been here a few times and the food is fresh and drinks are good too. Staff always seem friendly which is always important. Nice to sit outside too on the high street with a drink.
