Possibly best sour cherry tart in town!

Cafe St Pierre is a wonderful little café, it has a peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely French food! I've had my best sour cherry tart in there and superstrong coffee! A must visit cafe when in Canterbury! Try it out.

Blissful really hot coffee and the most delicious smoked salmon baguette ever. I went here after giving up on the queue at Costa. So glad I did; now I'll never go anywhere else. Can't wait to go again.

I had to walk around the main shopping area a few times today on various errands and noted the vast array of food outlets, meaning a great lunch choice awaited. I wanted an independent outlet and ended up at this cafe. It looked welcoming, with an authentic, French lunch menu. I was warmly greeted (in French) and proceeded to have... More

Very nice hot chocolate & a latte, my partner had the French Onion Soup ,a delight she said, the large fresh cooked German Sausage hot baguette ,a tasty treat on a cold rainy day. Eaten here many times in the past. The Croque Monsieur (our usual choice) always a favourite . A touch of French bistro fayre at the end... More

Nice and cute place in downtown Canterbury, we went there for breakfast and both got 2 petit dejeune, which includes a croissant, a capuccino and bread and jam. We were a bit disappointed that the james was not homemade and the bread was only two slices. The croissant was ok, the capuccino didn't have enough flavour. The place is overall... More

5 star ratings should be hard earned but this superb little french cafe deserves nothing less . Lovely pastries , croissants , fruit tarts , baguettes with fillings such as crayfish and tomato , merguez and dijon mustard , goose or pork rillettes . Usually 2 homemade soups , croque monsieur , quiches , and savory croissants stuffed with gruyere... More

we went for coffee at the start of our shopping trip. Coffee was delicious...my friend said she could not believe how flavoursome the decaf was! I had a chocolate croissant..it was light, crispy and delicious. There were so many beautiful French pastries to choose from.we returned for another coffee on the way back to the station. Very nice indeed!

Proper french cafe, lovely coffee and cakes. Great freshly made baguettes. Nothing fancy but does what it says on the tin.
