The building alone is a real delight with a rickety staircase that takes you up to two further floors. The baguettes were good although I did feel mine was a little underpacked for the price. However, the large smoothie I had more than made up for it. Service was quick and friendly.

Thank you for the review but I think you have the wrong establishment. We have no upper floors, we don't serve smoothies and our fillings are considered generous ;o) Hope this clarifies matters. Many thanks. More

On a warm day it was a great relief to find a nice Cafe with outdoor seating that had a nice bit of shade. On passing we noticed a picture in the window for the courtyard garden so ventured in. Very nice, the cakes on display as you pass through meant it was going to be more that just a... More

A friend and I had lunch here one Sunday just after arriving in Canterbury. We sat in the garden as it was warm and sunny. We both chose the smoked salmon salad at £5.95 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We decided to go back on the Tuesday and sat inside this time. We thought of trying something different but opted for... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed both times you visited us. Sorry if you misheard one of our waiters/waitresses, for future visits there is a 30p charge on card payments under £10. Not £3.00. We hope to see you again soon, many thanks, Cafe St Pierre More

We really enjoyed the two meals we had at the Cafe. A very pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Pastries tasted fresh, and the sandwiches we had at lunch were very filling and fresh. Staff were very courteous.

This looked so inviting as we walked by so we stopped for coffee. The decor is great fun, and there is a nice atmosphere inside. the staff are great too. We thought £7 for two very weak coffees and a Croissant with chocolate which didn't taste like it was fresh in that morning was excessive.

I recently visited here for breakfast with my French Canadian parents in-law and we had a great visit. A lovely warm welcome and delicious food and coffee. There is also a great garden which makes it even better if you're visiting in the summer. Highly recommend visiting this place. I will certainly be back next time I am in the... More

This lovely Cafe has everything, great coffee, good food and pleasant helpful staff. It's a little corner of France on your doorstep, and once you step through the door, the atmosphere is a reminder of all those French holidays of the past. Le petit dejeuner is great value at £4.50 for 2 pieces of baguette, a pastry and a large... More
