Best hot chocolates ever

I always stop in here if I can for a quick hot chocolate and pastry. It seems so typically French that you could be over in France but it's great that you are actually in the old town of Canterbury.

We pop in here a lot, mostly because the coffee is gorgeous (albeit in too small a cup!! but I hate mugs - note to owner, get bigger cups!!). I love their cheese and ham croissants - and so do my birds. I always save the crusts for my garden birds and the other day such a kind waitress saw... More

My husband and I eat at Café St Pierre regularly, it is a warm welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The fillings for the baguettes cater for the vegetarian as well as the non vegetarian and offer unusual and creative combinations. The outside courtyard provides a lovely sheltered spot in the warmer weather. If you are partial to French cheese then... More

Lovely independent cafe - delicious cakes and pastries - small sunny outside eating area at the back. Good coffee too.

Love grabbing a heated up waffle from here or a french tart & going for a walk in the west gate park just down the road from it.

I met up with a friend for an early morning coffee here. On entering the cafe you are met with an aroma of freshly brewed coffee and pastries. We had Cappuccinos Danish pastry and Almond croissant they were all delicious also spotted the french gentleman who owns the cafe he was chatting with customers. Go here for delicious french pastries... More

When ever we go to Canterbury (and that is a lot) we always make for this Cafe'. The baguettes are brilliant, as is the coffee. The specials board always has something different most days. This Cafe' also has outdoor seating and is a little sun trap now they have cut down some trees at the back, smashing in the summer... More

This is a real find in Canterbury. Really good food, usually authentic French. Nice service, the French owner can be a bit dour at busy times. The home made soup and the rabbit baguette I especially recommend.Good coffee too.
