We can't fault this place! Lovely food with a great atmosphere! My husband and I are both vegetarians and the veg box was our saviour after wondering the streets of Canterbury to try something different for lunch. When we arrived the cafe was busy but we were seated quickly as we opted to share a table with 2 other diners.... More

I was in Canterbury on business so I popped in for a quick lunch, Pea and mint soup was very nice but the two thick slices of still warm freshly home baked wholemeal bread it was served with was perfect, as good as I have eaten anywhere and at any time. Desert choice was the chocolate beetroot brownie, sounds disgusting... More

This is our 2nd review of this Vegetarian Café. As vegans we feel lucky to have this Café within striking distance - just wish there was one in Folkestone. Today I had the most delicious Buddha Bowl that included roast beets, garlic mushrooms, lentils, salad leaves, sunflower seeds, hazelnuts and a tangy dressing. Couldn't ask for a tastier or more... Super healthy and tasty food. Great value for money and good service. The curry is amazing! Hidden gem in Canterbury.

As it's a cafe, the food selection is quite limited. However, what's on offer is fresh, tastes great, and doesn't seem to contain a lot of junk. An excellent choice for lunch.

Visited here with our family. Arrived just before they shut the kitchen but there was no problem about keeping open and no rush. The food was excellent and we were even given a baby bowl and spoon for our young daughter. All in all very good.

Located just above a lovely natural foods store, Veg Box is an amazing vegetarian haven––friendly service and delicious, natural food in a laid-back atmosphere. I had the hummus salad with homemade bread, and it was just perfect!

It's atop the Wholefoods shop, so if you get hungry whilst looking through all their enticing products, you don't have to wait to go back home to cook! Just go to the vegbox cafe where they cater for everyone's needs from gluten free to vegan. They're a veggie cafe so no meat but they do still use animal products. There... More

The quality of the food was really very good although the service, while friendly, was slow so you need to be quite laid back. The restaurant space sits above a whole food supermarket and is comfortable but basic, come here for the food quality and to eat healthily. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will return. Great for a lunch and... More

The setting was pleasant as it is quiet and off of the busy Canterbury high street. Service was great, with food quick and the staff attentive. While a quiet Monday afternoon, the atmosphere and environment was very clean, tidy and pleasant. The menus are very clear, table was set with some lovely garden flowers, and the specials clearly displayed on... More
