This is a really very good restaurant/café. Highly recommended. We had lunch and it was absolutely fabulous.

I've been brought up in a family with mixed dietary requirements. Me being the only one without an allergy, physical condition or such have grown to enjoy eating meals for specific diets such as gluten free, dairy free or IBS friendly. It has also given me an enthusiasm and interest in finding adaptations and meals that cater for all. Everything... More

I eat here when my vegetarian daughter is at home. I have enjoyed it so much the last few times, however, that sometimesI eat there voluntarily. Very nice food, lovely staff and pleasant surroundings. Also in a quiet but conveniently central location.

Delicious food and lovely service in pleasant atmosphere. Food was freshly prepared, with quite a variety available. I was starving and ordered the bean burger with fried onions and potatoes, it arrived piping hot, with the onions, potatoes, and a crisp side salad. My better half ordered a platter with bread, olive panade, hummous, and nuts - all very delicious.... More

Finding innovative vegetarian food can be difficult, and we often get palmed off with the same goat's cheese tart or pasta with gloop sauce.last week I had a curry that was so full of different at!flavours, wide variety of vegetables in it..and a lovely atmosphere in the cafe..great!

Stopped for lunch and chose from the board, I had the vegetable curry and other half had the soup of the day. Soup was "super" and the curry was one of the best I have had for a long time away from home. It was flavoursome, spiced and very enjoyable not just varying degrees of chilli and colourings which seems... More

Went to this vegetarian restaurant for lunch. The service is excellent, we wanted to have the soup but I was not sure about it so the waitress brought some for me to try. The soup was excellent squash, lentil and lemon, the bowl was massive, the bread was warm and so tasty and only £4.95. The atmosphere is also pleasant.... More

I frequently visit The Veg Box. The food they offer is lovely, wholesome, healthy, tasty and guilt free! The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The cafe is decorated really nicely and has a great area for children. They also have a health food store downstairs which is very useful. The cafe is situated really well in Canterbury in the... I visited this restaurant today with my daughter who is a vegetarian. I am not ,but on the basis of this meal I would be more than happy to eat more vegetarian meals. The service was very good. The waiter was friendly and helpful as were the other staff. We both had the special for the day which was Carrot... More

Have visited here many times, as a vegetarian and a vegan! Always first class food! Had one hickup once when given buttered bread! Meal was unpaid with no quibble! Have been back lots since with no problems! Vegan meals are stunning, as is the vegan sweet/cake/ice creams! They have a kids/toddler/baby corner/area which can get noisy, but hey thats kids,...
