This place serves good food, it's really relaxed, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sadly we arrived too late for lunch but we had a shared platter with houmous and another dip, both of which were incredibly tasty, along with olives and bread. I couldn't resist the carrot cake to finish - delicious and moist. They have a... More

What an amazin restaurant just what Canterbury needed. You are made to feel welcome from the second you walk in. Menu really underpriced for what it is, drinks menu just almost be at cost for Fentiman bottles etc. Only thing I'd change was their large chips which were undercooked the last three times we ate there. Our guilty secret when... More

I went here with my mum, my sister and our vegan friend. My sister had been here previously and said that it was coeliac and vegan friendly. I had a hummus, sundried tomato and olive salad, and swapped the cornbread for potato wedges, and the others all had the vegan bean burgers. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meals, as the... More

Had a lovely family lunch here. All freshly made and service with a smile. We visited from London and reserved a table. Lots of vegan options and good portion size. Simply delicious. Health shop downstairs also a bonus. Worth a visit.Highly Recommended.

The food was very tasty and wholesome, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the staff friendly. The best spot for lunch in Canterbury - vegetarian or otherwise!

Lovely food. Great choice. Friendly service. The Raw Chocolate Cheescake with a cup of vegan hot chocolate is awesome! The shop downstairs is brilliant too. I was able to get lots of ingredients that I struggle to find at home. I will be back as soon as possible!

Having lived in Canterbury for many years I've visited here frequently and the service and food quality is always excellent. I've never had a bad experience here, the staff are friendly but not overbearing and there is always plenty of choice on the menu for vegetarians and vegans alike. I've also visited here with meat-eating friends and they always enjoy... More

Enjoyed the food and the kids were happy with the options. Service a bit hit and miss - very friendly and welcoming - laid back but a bit slow. Bit overpriced too - for the size of the portions etc. The usual veggie cafe decor - which I like as you know what to expect but my partner thinks is... More

I'm really glad the Veg Box Cafe is there, and I go there every Thursday night for Free Range music and performance, and they sell drinks and snackier food. It's now once again probably the only place in Canterbury specifically catering for veggies and vegans, with attention to other issues (e.g. gluten-free). The food is good value, fresh and quite...
