Excellent food and ambience

Wanted to try this place but previously couldn't get in. Prebooked online. Ambience and food was outstanding. We went early evening but was still buzzing in a good way. Staff were good too. Highly recommended.

I'm always on the fence a bit with this restaurant / the seating is a bit regimented which I think doesn't help as it feels like there is little atmosphere especially on quite nights.... But menu great in my opinion and good usually good to. So well worth a go....

If your in the area then you have to eat here, caters for all eating tastes, you may need to book as it does get a little busy at times but it is well worth it

Arrived really excited as had looked at the menu online and it looked amazing. The waitresses were really friendly and service was fine, the food came out quick however everything seemed quite unorganised (no cutlery on table when meal came, asked for sparking water but came quite late). We asked for bread and dips to start which never came, but... More

I have visited this establishment on more than occasion and was taken with the range of dishes available on the menu. Sometimes I am concerned by restaurants that have such a diverse menu because I believed if the menu offers lots of cuisine they may not all be to a good standard. This restaurant is not like this at all... More

Visited with family on TA recommendation. Quiet Monday lunch time. Service excellent and food arrived quickly , good value, fresh and well presented. We tried the 2 course set menu- calamari and beef carpaccio starter very good and pizzas also excellent- nice crisp base. Atmosphere nice inside but we would have preferred outside terrace. Unfortunately although it's riverside, the terrace... More

main course very average, I had rump steak with small sized chips, served with a mixture of green leaves. No vegetables or potatoes offered. Wife had same meal with small portion of lamb. Restaurant did not have Mediterranean feel about it

Reasonably priced for the high calibre of food on offer at this lovely little restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and the winelist was exciting. I highly enjoyed my meal here and would look forward to going again.

A really friendly welcome started the evening off well. Du Soleil was heaving, and we'd had to make our reservation well ahead. We started with glasses of prosecco and perused the very tempting menu. My husband chose the scallops with chorizo and a fillet steak to follow and he was very pleased with them. I was not so fortunate in... More
