Decided to go here as saw on trip advisor. Walked through the town and there are loads of restaurants, but decided to pick this one as nice setting with a bridge over the river and outside eating area if warm enough. Inside was decorated really nice and we were greeted by friendly staff, so reserved a table for the evening.... More

Attended this establishment as part of a wedding reception. This was a very nice place top eat alongside the river and away from the central pedestrian traffic of the city center. Food was varied and was of a very good standard and not expensive . Although we were visiting as part of a reception party, you could clearly see the... More

Everything here is amazing. The service was perfect, everyone was very relaxed and helpful. They had a "no problem" attitude to any issue. We ordered the daily special which was a seafood risotto....my god, it was amazing! Absolutely perfectly cooked squid and wonderful flavours as well as perfect portion size. Finished off with a lemon and orange cheesecake with mango coulis... More

The last time I ate here the over written menu led to the inevitable disappointment when the food arrived and was only a pizza after all. Now the food is exciting and different, beautifully cooked and delicious. The service was attentive and the building is interesting.

The food was average, and we were unpleasantly shocked by the price of the sharing starter (£7.95 EACH) when there was one of everything each, and a selection of about 5 items. I mentioned that we had to leave by a certain time and the main came swiftly after the starters had been cleared. The service was good. :)

I had not been here for a while but arranged to meet friends for dinner on Friday - from booking by email over the internet to the end of our evening the service was exceptional. Our waitress (whilst new - she told us she had been there for 2 days when we were there on Friday) was fabulous - attentive... More

Fantastic range across the menu, definitely something for everyone without breaking the bank. Idyllic setting, and not hard to find from the train station. First time visiting the restaurant and couldn't recommend more - the food was exquisite, and the staff were friendly, attentive yet not overbearing. This is definitely a place worth visiting, especially if you're a student -... More

Wide ranging menu mostly British and European influences. Six of us each had different starters and mains - every one of us thought that their own two dishes were excellent. Good portions, good value £35 per head including drinks, coffee etc. The waiter and three waitresses that served us during our meal last night (Monday 15th Sept) could not have... More
