I eat here every week mainly choosing from the wraps special board. I order a small wrap to take away and pay around £3.50. I would recommend this to everyone to try.

Would have given it a five had cous-cous been ready and available.... Arrived on Easter Saturday at about 11:30am for an early lunch having been in the snow-flurried City of Canterbury since 8:30am. The service was friendly, welcoming and polite. Interestingly shaped put-your-menu together idea, as well as some ready-to-order options. In the absence of a cous-cous base, I opted... More

I eat/work in Canterbury and have eaten in most places for lunch, i absolutely love Canteen. Everything is fresh, they have a great variety, there are generous portions and the staff are lovely. You may pay a small amount more than you would at Subway or any other generic chain, but you get 10x the quality. I recommend getting a... More

Work takes me into Canterbury on a reasonably regular basis. Whenever I can I pop in to have lunch. From flatbreads, to curries they're all delicious. I love their winter food especially the soups. The ingredients are fresh, all food is made on the day & you can taste it. You know it's good value for money when the students... More

We had delicious lunch during our visit to Canterbury. The soup was fabulous( squash , ginger & lime) really thick and perfect on cold day. Really helpful , pleasant staff Only couple of moans Very steep steps to seating area and 3 pieces of our crockery had multiple chips on them.. Need to replace as looks awful and not hygienic.

I've visited a few times after my boyfriend introduced me to Canteen in the summer. They have the nicest flatbreads ever!! I never regret a decision to go to canteen. Fresh, healthy food, that tastes great, with a side of super friendly service. :)

This must be one of the best places to eat in Canterbury - well presented, fresh food that is cheap and great value - I had to ask for a carry out as my wrap was so filling I could only eat half of it ( I was warned), and the staff seem genuinely happy to help! Brilliant for vegetarians... More

The Canteen in Canterbury offers the most AMAZING breakfast. It is so funky, healthy, delicoius and affordable. I have never had beans on toast with chorizo, sour cream and spring onion topping, I will be having it again. My husband had the breakfast toasted wrap that was again just amazing. I absolutely commend the style of presentation of the food... More
