Although I preferred the previous 'trattoria' style decor to the current more formal (and rather colder) presentation, it's always a lovely place to eat - the food is excellent, cooked by native Italians from Naples, and the service is wonderfully friendly and efficient. On the last occasion, I was on my own, between appointments, and ordered only two starter items... More

After another lack lustre meal at Don Vincenzo in Rochester, we decided to give this place a try - and we we're glad we did - the king prawns in white wine were superb - I had the lasagne, the sauce excellent and the pasta not overcooked. Service was polite - but if your in a rush it won't be... More

Great traditional italian meal with one niggle - £2.95 for 5 pieces of sliced baguette seems a bit mean

Visited Pinocchio"s whilst on a break to Canterbury.Rang on the off chance they had a table available at short notice on a Friday evening and we were in luck. My wife had bruschetta and I had a chicken, spinach and tomato soup to start. Both were presented beautifully and tasted the same. For the mains my wife had a Pizza O Sol... More

Once again we used trip advisor to pick a restaurant and we were not disappointed the food was very good as was the service and really nice people. A nice family run restaurant at reasonable prices would defiantly eat there again

I recently hosted an academic conference in Canterbury. Base on very good past experiences I picked Pinocchio's for the conference dinner. The food was excellent as always and the staff and chef were fantastic. We had one vegan participant and one who has a gluten intolerance, the chef made special arrangement which looked excellent. Everyone who attended was very impressed... More

I was worried about going to an Italian Restaurant as I'm not overly keen on Pizza or Pasta but assumed there would be other options and there were! We ordered calamari and I'm always worried that I'm going to be served a frozen, rubbery version that is swamped by the batter. What a delightful surprise this dish turned out to... More

After a quick Tripadvisor search for Canterbury restaurants for our last night in the city, we decided to visit Pinocchio's and we weren't disappointed! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, taking our coats and pulling our chairs out for us. We each had a starter, one of which was from the specials board, a pizza and we shared a... More
