Lovely meal

This is a very nice restaurant in the old section of Canterbury featuring wonderful food without costing a fortune. I had a very nice pan fried duck dinner. The wait staff will take good care of you.

Great place in the heart of Canterbury. Food is inventive, decor is cool and staff are friendly. Make sure you book on theatre days, though.

Have been meaning to eat at dee sons for some time having heard good things about it. Visited with some colleagues last night and had a fantastic meal, interesting and varied menu and exceptionally well cooked and tasty dishes. Not cheap but for once a place that is worth it.

Efficient and friendly service. Delicious food. The menu featured locally produced food, combined in a way that was reminiscent of Great British Menu. There's a set menu from which you can select two or three courses as well as an a la carte menu. We enjoyed the food so much that we came here twice during a three day stay!... More

First time in Canterbury, was looking to have some lunch in a decent restaurant - tried this one. I had a main and a desert. The main course was incredibly good: everything was so good, every single part and ingredient. The mash was the best I've ever had. The meat was so good. No words to describe. The desert was... My wife and I decided to drive down to Canterbury from London on our wedding anniversary. It is truly a beautiful place. After researching, I had chosen Deesons for our Sunday Lunch. They deserve their high rating as the Roast Beef and Lamb that we had were perfect. James, (our waiter), was attentive and very professional. We would definately return.

This was my second (business) visit and, remebering a fine evening the last time I was here I was not disappointed. The ambience is good, the food is great, there are Kentish wines on the menu and the staff are so friendly. Wholly worth a visit.

We were looking for a restaurant at short notice on a Friday night and had checked some pubs and restaurants in Tripadvisor and they recommended Deeson’s in Sun St for fine British food. I'm so glad we went as it was excellent. They were fully booked but they fitted us in as it was only about 6pm. We had 3... More

Went here mid afternoon, and it was a delight. Wanting to treat ourselves, but not being that hungry, we opted for light appetizers, along with some very lovely desserts. The food was creative and delicious. Considering what you got on your plate, it was a bit over priced, but a tasty meal is a tasty meal. And dessert! Oh, dessert!... More
