I finally ate at Deeson's after countless recommendations from friends and it lived up to expectations. The atmosphere was perfect; a full and buzzy restaurant but with tables that are large and well spaced so that you don't feel encroached upon. Just right for a date. The service was prompt, polite and considerate and the starter and main courses that... More

I hadn't visited Deeson's for sometime. But I met an old school friend today for lunch and he suggested we ate there. So glad he did! So pleased it was the same excellent, friendly service as on previous visits, great food and environment. I am happy to recommend Deeson's.

I have been to Deeson's a few times and some visits have been excellent whilst others mediocre. The atmosphere is always good and most of the staff are excellent although there sometimes appears to be quite a lot of confusion between them which can result in long delays. We once waited 50 minutes between starter and main. It is mainly... More

Now, it is not often that one encounters a restaurant that really has it all, and aside from the lack of outside eating space this restaurant really does! The owner and his right hand man (nick) are a formidable team and I guarantee you will be made to feel very welcome. You will have to book if you want the... More

We had a family lunch at Deesons and it was a wonderful meal and really enjoyable occasion. The food was universally excellent and the service very attentive and individual. All who came really enjoyed themselves and I could not recommend Deesons highly enough. When we are next back in Canterbury I would certainly eat here again, without hesitation

This was one of our favorite restaurants during an memorable, weeklong trip to England. The cuisine was superb, particularly the salmon and lamb. It was clear that the chef had a refreshingly distinctive style. Furthermore, members of the staff were very courteous and professional. My only recommendation to readers is to take your time here and enjoy.

I booked this restaurant on the basis of reading some Tripadvisor reviews when I went to Canterbury for the day with my other half and I was not disappointed! The service was excellent - they were very attentive without being too intense and were very accommodating. The food was absolutely beautiful - all made with local produce and much of... More

Modern feel and very close to Cathedral, we (4 of us) sat outside as we have a dog but service very good (sometimes you get forgotten). We had a selection from the pre theatre menu - very good value, the fish cakes are huge (good advice not to order extra veg !) all decided to go for starters and mains... More

We went to Canterbury for our sons graduation and ate in Deesons on Wednesday 16th July. We chose this restaurant based on my sons recommendation and we were not disappointed, the food is first class. The service was fantastic and the location is amazing. Do not hesitate to eat here, a first class evening was had by all.
