Good & pricey !

A good food well design in a "vintage style" english house maybe a bit dark for me . Staff ok but not friendly could be more relax . Around 80£ for two , starter main and desert w/ water and 2 beers , quite pricey !

I went to Deeson's with my in laws and I was impressed with the delicious and beautifully seasoned food. The pork was tasty and innovative. Very good indeed.

We often go to Deesons for a family celebration and it is very good. However last time we went we found the portions to be smaller than usual and the food was not what we are used to. It just does not seem like good value for money if the food is average but the portions are small. We will... More

Once again a delicious meal, lovely ambiance & very good service. We live in Holland but when stopping off in Canterbury we always try to fit in a meal @ Deeson' s & as yet have never been disappointed. This is the first time we have visited with Dutch friends & they were just as enthusiastic as us.

I have visited Deesons twice so far - both times for lunch in June. On the first occasion I was just with my husband and the service was excellent; the second time was for a birthday lunch for 5 members of the family and, although I don't like to be rushed through a meal, the service was very slow, which... Ate there our first night. A tad pricey but worth every pence. Wait staff were outstanding, as was the food. They couldn't fit in our party so they gave us a private room at no cost.

During our recent London visit, my wife & I made a day trip to Canterbury. Based on other TripAdvisor reviews we had dinner at Deeson's and were not disappointed. The staff was welcoming and the food was excellent. We're certainly not experts on "traditional British food" but each course served was delicious, and the price was about 1/2 what we'd... More

We loved Deesons, especially the personal, friendly and cheerful, yet highly professional attitude of the staff who definitely helped to make or evening memorable. As there was a party of 11 of us, we had pre-ordered our menu. The set menu offered a good selection of options, costing £27 for 2 courses and £31 for 3 courses. Each person's name... More

Previously I have had really iffy meals here but recently they have upped their game. The food was delicious and the service was has got better too. Definitely worth trying.
