Went for lunch this afternoon in the pouring rain, frozen to the core ( because it's May!) The young man kindly saw my predicament and sat me next to a hot radiator ( having just come from M&S where they had the aircon blasting pensioners with sub zero ozone). I wanted a glass of red wine to warm myself up... More

We have visited Canterbury a number of times in the past couple of months, as we are thinking of moving to this delightful city, and placing our children at a nearby school. Friends in Maidstone and London had recommended "Deeson's" wholeheartedly, and we were very much looking forward to our visit. In the end, we visited twice, and have booked... More

Visited with my family for Saturday lunch. We were seated by the window where we could watch the comings and goings in the old narrow street outside. This was my first visit although my son and daughter-in-law have visited before on more than one occasion. The welcome from the staff was good and the tabke service from the young waiter was... More

I went here with my partner on my birthday - we were treated like royalty and the food was incredible! An excellent choice for any occasion, but made my birthday unforgettable.

Popped in for lunch and had sandwiches and chips which came with crisps and salad and a good portion. Puddings (apple crumble and cheesecake ) were huge and absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent and value very good

I am confused when read the other reviews for this restaurant. I found the portion sizes small and the prices high. Also the service was not spectacular. The Starter was £7. It was well cooked and pleasant to eat but at this price I would expected something more. This price is on the edge of a "fine dining" experience. This... More

We like to try different restaurants and try to visit a new one once a month. We visited Deeson's on recommendation from several colleagues. And it didn't disappoint - we now have a new favourite! A great selection of food and wine, served exceptionally well -good customer service here. And the addition of real piano music in the background tops... More

Our family of four (children 13 & 10) really enjoyed our meal at Deeson's -- really fine British Cuisine in a nice atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly too. My wife had the seafood platter starter and salmon main. I had the soup and roast duck. Again, simply outstanding. The children split the stuffed chicken and that worked out well... More

I go to Deesons on various occsions, its always good, the staff and friendly and you feel you have had a treat when you have been. I am a fifty something, but my daughter who is 24 raves about it and goes there with her friends and is very enjoyable. The food is locally sourced, the selection is always good... More
