Lovely find

Great resturant and something different from the norm. We had the starter for two, which was tasty. We were seated downstairs, which was cosy and nicely decorated, but could feel like you had to wait for a waiter/waitress to come by. I had the lamb shank for main, which was tender and filling... read more

Having been off restaurants and takeaway for Lent, we decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway from Azouma earlier this week as we have enjoyed food from here in the past. Was told it would take 45-50mins to arrive, but it took 1 hr 15mins. Was cold and the most disgusting meal I've had. Food was cold, the sambouseks didn't... More

Whilst on a day trip with my partner to Canterbury on 5 March 2015, we both fancied something different for lunch. We came across the Azouma restaurant and were both pleasantly surprised at the warm atmosphere, comfortable seating and helpful staff that we encountered. We decided on the lunchtime 'eat as much as you like' buffet and was not disappointed.... More

We wanted to go to a Moroccan restaurant and found this delightful restaurant in Church Street. We should have ordered a starter as our main meals needed quite a lot of time to prepare but we did enjoy some very good wine by the glass (pity they could not have done a few hors d'oeuvres like some restaurants). My mixed... More

This was a real treat and is well worth a visit if you are in Canterbury. My wife and I decided to have the set meal for two, and there was plenty of it. The food was beautifully presented and gave a real taste of authentic Moroccan cuisine. The ambience in the hotel was very good, and the staff were... More

My wife and I visited Azouma last weekend. We had mixed mezze to share to start which was good. My wife ordered the chicken tagine (exactly what I was going to choose) and as I didn't want to get the same and as we had not been there before, I asked the waiter what did he recommend? He said the... More

My girlfriend ordered chicken and rice (can't remember name) and it was cold and bland at best. The service was pretty poor as I had to get up and pay for my meal as the waiter took too long to give me the bill. There seemed to be an argument amongst the staff at the time and it made it... More

We visted this restaurant one evening this week whist visiting the city. There was a warm welcome, and the atmosphere was great. The food was excellent, we did not know what to expect, but flavours were great, portions good, and quality high. Good value for great quality. Would definately recommend
