Azouma, a Moroccan/Lebanese restaurant located on Church Street in Canterbury, is a calming haven from the bustle of every day life. The traditional dining room, decorated with lanterns and throw cushions, is perfect for romantic dinners, relaxed business lunches, family get-togethers and fun celebrations. The exotic menu at Azouma features regional dishes from Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria and Turkey – favourite dishes include the succulent Tagine Djej Bzetoun – slow-cooked chicken with piqant lemon and olives; and the Samakeh Harrah – sea bass baked in traditional Lebanese style. We walked the length and breadth of Canterbury looking for a place to get a bite to eat. We were drawn to this place as it had an outdoor sheltered area. Excellent choice! We had the £7.50 all you can eat and were not disappointed with the quality or variety of the menu. Superb for vegetarians like... read more

This is an authentic Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Canterbury. The food is always freshly prepared and delivers a taste sensation each and every time! Even though I am a vegetarian, I have been able to choose something new and delicious on each occasion; my fellow diners assure me that the meat dishes are cooked to perfection too. My... More

Had a family meal out, we tried the lamb shank, the fish tagine and the mixed grill as well as mezze starters. Everything was beautifully cooked and the flavours were amazing. To top it off, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely and friendly and the whole evening was great! Cannot recommend the food or the venue enough for... More

Booked a table here on a Friday evening as we wanted to try a different Turkish restaurant from our usual. We were impressed by the decor, food and service. The menu offered a good selection of starters and mains. The food was served piping hot a was extremely tasty. The belly dancer performs every Friday and was a nice touch... More

Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal here, with prompt service and a generally great atmosphere. The food was a bit different to the usual fare, but I'm glad to have tried it, and can recommend the fish tagine and will definitely be back again.

Our company went here for lunch and it was delightful! We enjoyed the buffet especially and were able to book a large table on short notice.

This has become our favourite restaurant in Canterbury. When you try the buffet, there is not a single dish we haven't enjoyed. Just love the beef tagine wtih pear and prunes. Try mixing the coconut balls with the chocolate cake for a "bounty style" dessert. Great value, great food and a great Moroccan atmosphere.

Lovely tasty meal in a warm cosy atmosphere. Couscous and skewered chicken were really tasty. Homemade baklava was amazing. Belly dancing entertainment throughout meal too. A lovely experience with plenty more on the menu to try. Staff very friendly, helpful and do not rush you. A great night out.
