Great food, great price, and a nice, though small selection of great original italian classic dishes cooked just like "mamma used ta maka"

Visited this small Italian restaurant in St. Albans last week, but sadly won't be going again. Too crowded with too many tables, too close together (looks very amateurish) and too much like a cafeteria for my liking. But this aside, sadly the food was not of a great standard either. My sardines were well overcooked and tough, and main dish... More

This is a big statement, but having just returned from Naples, I can quite easily say La Cosa Nostra beats any pizza I have eaten! The secret is in the dough….. mmmmm! I have also enjoyed the wider menu on other occasions, the pasta dishes and they have a specials board which is also tasty but in my view you... More

Was taken here by a local property agent. Swift, buzzy little Italian. Simple but tasty. Went safe with a Lasagne, was lovely with many layers of flavour. Quick service and friendly owner. Will be back as locating a business here!

We often go here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Lovely genuine pizza with a variety of toppings. Same with the pasta, good variety and freshly cooked. Can eat outside in warm weather. Must come back and try the evening menu!! Very friendly Italian family owners who always recognise us. Recommended.

The very best authentic pizza dough ever! They will amend/ alter and even cater for vegans. Good choice, freshly cooked with a great owner. Highly recommended often!

authentic Italian . (They were all speaking it) Friendly place with warm smiles and a good welcome. Décor a bit poor but the food was excellent and no complaints here.

Went here for dinner on a friday evening, good job we booked as it was packed - packed a bit too much actually, could do with a bit more room to move. Food was pretty good, I had the schnitzel and bolognaise which was pretty tasty. Good value too. Service was average. I imagine this is the sort of friendly... More
