This place serves really delicious italian food that wouldn't be out of place in Rome. The calzone is to die for. Book in advance as it's always very busy. One of the best italians in st. albans.

A good menu with well presented and good portions of all the standard foods you would expect from a high street Italian restaurant. Service is good and attentive. Price was £30 a head for lunch including wine and soft drinks. A handy restaurant

Booking L'Ilaliana was interesting. I was left hanging on for some minutes, eventually having to question if anyone was stiil there before they finally said there was a table free when I needed one. Then the same thing happened when I had to ring back to alter the booking. So to be honest I wasn't really surprised when our 8pm... More

A really good little restaurant, very friendly staff a good simple menu, this was the second time we tried to go and they always seem booked up so best to ring and reserve a table unless you are aiming to get there after 9 pm. Will defiantly be going back again

Lovely little restaurant in St Albans, have been here twice now with friends and we've had great food and drink both times. It's lovely and intimate without being squashed and the food was delicious. I'm vegetarian and there was lots of choice, the pasta I think must have been home made and the starters were huge. Great value and a... More

Me and my friends came in on Tuesday, we sat in the garden out front as it was warm and sunny, the staff are always so friendly and accommodating even when really busy. I had the folded pizza and it was absolutely fab. One can't go wrong with this place.

Decided to have lunch here after hearing great reviews. First impression .... We arrived slightly early for our booking of 12 noon so the restaurant wasn't open, not too good to see chefs and staff smoking outside the front of the premises. When open were shown to our table at the back of the restaurant, it was very cold and... More

Tucked away off High St and from outside doesn't look anything special, but the food is very good with good and friendly service whilst prices for ordinary pasta menu is very reasonable for such quality. Plenty of specials available daily as well, my wife found the other week so we visited together and not disappointed

Great Portions, excellent food, and huge menu choice. We usually go to Zizi next door simply because its very child friendly and every so often has good online discount rates, but I have to say, I think I'll be coming back here to try a few more dishes!
