Small, however good service and food

Walked past here many times so though we should give it a go. Briefly food good though meats slightly overlooked on the mixed grill, though tasty. Grilled haloumi salad excellent. Was a warm day was was very hot inside so maybe not one for a hot day, though ambience excellent and having been... read more

For a Friday evening it was very quiet which is why we couldn't understand why the waiters weren't very attentive and the service a little slow. Although all the staff were very friendly. When the food came it was piping hot and very tasty. I'd recommend the scallops to start followed by the sea bass. Both were delicious. We weren't... More

We had lunch from the fixed 2 course menu. I had mergues to start and kefta as my main. The food was outstanding as was the service. The Moroccan pastries made a delightful dessert with a mint tea served from a Moroccan tea pot to finish. Love the surroundings it all feels very cosy. I absolutely recommend a visit be... More

Had a wonderful lunch in this quirky cafe. Food staff and ambience all wonderful. Scaffolding outside nearly put us off but so glad we went. Will go again on next visit. 2 course lunch very good value, so full at the end.

very cosy good food reasonable prices good service can become full, therefore, seems to have a good reputation worth another visit a bit tricky to find parking nearby I think that local train station may be not too far.

What a little gem. As it is a small venue one needs to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. On the night we were there it was packed to the rafters. The food and service was of a high quality. The décor gives you the feel that you could be in Marrakech itself. We sat in the tent that... More

Four of us went along on Friday 13th March at 8pm, I'd booked a table a couple of days before which I would definitely advise as the restaurant was full. The restaurant is very thoughtfully decorated and you really do feel like you could be in Marrakech. It's small, cosy and has very friendly staff who happily helped us select... More

Lovely service and food great! We very much enjoyed the set lunch which was competitively priced and was offered some very good holiday advice too! Highly recommended but be prepared to wait for a table!
