Cute Restaurant

Visited last night for dinner. A cute little restaurant which gives you an intimate dining experience. Staff were great with the maitre de being very efficient as well as a bit of a jokester. Food was delightful with the tajines being full of flavour. A great restaurant that I would visit again if... read more

After reading the 'rave' reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to visit as we love Morroccan food and often make dishes at home. However we obviously chose the wrong dishes! We weren't massively hungry so didn't have starters - the problem with this is that you don't get to sample many dishes and if your main is not that good, the... More

We have just been and had some lunch here which we have been trying to plan for such a long time now and today we managed it and It didn't disappoint at all, we were greeted by the waiting staff who showed us to our table, handed us our menus and took our drinks order , we were left to... More

Wondeerful evening last night at the Little Marrakesh. Table of 18 of us and all accomodated very well. Excellent food and excellent service. Kept up with all of our orders and the variety of food was served to us all piping hot and together (don't get this in a lot of restaurants with such a large group) Bellydancer was wonderful... Popped in midweek for some dinner having walked past this place many times (right in the centre of St Albans), and meaning to go in. We shared a meze platter for a starter - really nice and good value for about £11. Since Moroccan food is not something we have every day it was nice to have a mix of... More

Came here 6 of us for my sisters birthday meal on a Thursday evening. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was excellent (easily comparable to the food I had in Marrakech itself in April) and atmosphere was good. Thursday's they have a belly dancer which we thought might be a bit cringeworthy but it was actually great, she was really... More

This is the third time we have visited Little Marrakech and it's a treat we look forward to when visiting St Albans. We opted for the set price lunch special which is very good value. Having shared the falefel and humous starters (extra bread given without additional charge) we both opted for chicken tagine with coucous. The portions were ample... More

Tajine dishes are slow-cooked and the meat should be succulent, tender and full of flavour. I ordered the chicken tajine and it was obvious that although the stew had been cooking for hours the meat had not. It was probably grilled to order and then had the stew just poured on top. There was no flavour in the chicken; it... More

We have been to Little Marrakech many times now on a weekend for lunch....and will continue to do so. They have a great weekend lunch menu with a few traditional dishes, all of which are worth trying. The main menu has many others and trying some of these are also highly recommended. Lamb is wonderful, the fish has always been... More

I went with my wife to the Little Marrakesh Restaurant in St.Albans last night to celebrate our silver wedding Anniversary and were absolutely delighted with our choice. The staff were freindly and Attentive without being pushy, and the food was delicious. we even got a table in a curtained off area which made the meal seem even more like we... More
