A taste of Moroccan food in St Albans!

Quite surprised to see a Moroccan restaurant in the city centre of St Albans! It was five of us and we all ordered a two course lunch set each- therefore we managed to try bits of everything which was on offer on the menu. Starters were all great especially the deep fried Camembert; the tagines... read more

My second trip to Little Marrakech and it was even better than I remembered! My mother and I both had a lovely glass of red wine (of Moroccan origin - very nice) and a filling, tasty sandwich each - all very reasonably priced! The staff were fantastic, attentive but not over the top, with a good sense of humour. The... More

Our meal was tasty, and intimate and seemed very authentic (I have never been to Marrakech). Staff were friendly and the service was good. I recommend you book in advance, as we tried booking the same day and they were full, so booked a table for a couple week later

Unfortunately we were not able to stay for lunch but I felt the need to congratulate the young lady in charge on Friday who was able to produce 5 good cups of coffee and cakes within a very small timescale as we had a church service to attend. The interior space was small, intimate and delightfully decorated with everything Moroccan.... More

After a stroll through the delightful market of st Albans, we stopped for lunch at Little Marrakech. As soon as you enter you have no doubt as to what country is going to offer you a sample of its food. Moroccan style mirrors, lights and tiles evoke the atmosphere of the colourful markets of that country. tables for 2, 4... More

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Decor was inviting, music not loud and intrusive, service friendly and helpful without over doing it, and both the beef and chicken tangine was lovely--especially as it was on 3 degrees outside! Price wise the 2 course lunch deal was a good choice and more than satisfied our stomachs and wallet.

This is a cosy little gem tucked away on the main street. The staff are always friendly and the food is always wonderful - so very tasty and very generous portions! Good wine list too. Lovely place for a romantic dinner, a place for friends to eat together or a work do!

Great place, my husband and I went for a romantic evening meal. Small but great restaurant. The food was lovely, especially the lamb shank tagine! Highly recommend!

Had a very enjoyable meal here as a surprise birthday treat. The restaurant is really cosy. They sat our party of 12 at a large round table, which was perfect! The service was excellent, and the food was too, with really tasty authentic Moroccan food, we had a really good time, and will certainly go back another time.

We went to Little Marrakech for dinner the other day - a group of 7 people. We had various starters and tangines. We liked everything, we cleared out our plates. I wasn't blown away by the food but it was quite good. The staff were all very friendly. I know very little about Moroccan food, but it seemed quite authentic.
