Happened to stop outside and spotted the lunch time menu on a Saturday shopping trip. Always wanted to eat here so went in on off chance. Luckily a table was free. We were shown to our table by very friendly staff. Liked the clean, bright decor. Authentic. We chose our food and did not have to wait long to be... More

We dined in little Marrakech last night, after myself not being here for years and my boyfriend never been there - We waited for a few minutes at the entrance having booked a table we were then offered a choice of many - The restaurant had a few people in and only seemed to have one waitress working - we... I am afraid I cannot comment on this restaurants food as unfortunately when we tried to go there we were told rather rudely that we should have booked months ago! It's not what what said (maybe they are right and bookings need to be made in advance although I read with interest the review regarding double bookings) but more the... More

Been about 6 times. A favourite of ours. Tagines are wonderful. Couscous is homemade. Jouse wine good. Service great. Very good value. Would like to see some daily specials as menu although great had not changed for years. but will still keep going there.

Lovely little Moroccan place in St Albans that is much more than it appears from outside. The tagines were delicious and the service was good. We attended for an early evening meal after work so i would interested to find out if there is more atmosphere at busier times, but the place looked great and i will definitely visit again... More

If I lived in St Albans I would try here again. I was not blown away by the food it was nice but I have had better. The share mezze was a let down but the tagines for mains were quite good. This restaurant is good for small and large groups.

This is the second visit to this charming restaurant which is full of character and delicious food. Portions are larger than average and price is fair. The service is friendly and has a lovely atmosphere.......in a competitive place like St.Albans this little restaurant stands out.

We dropped into Little Marrakesh last week while visiting St Albans. The space is narrow and long and you can easily miss the front - don't do that! The staff take great pride in their work and are very helpful in describing dishes and making recommendations. The Moroccan bread was wonderful as were our meals. We enjoyed our sandwiches so... A bit of a tardis this place. Tiny little front window, but surprising amount of room. Nice food, great decor, really friendly staff and a belly dancer when I went. Really well decorated toilets.
