We have had coffee and a scone in Mrs Muffins on more than one occasion. In the past we have been left waiting for someone to take our order. This was not the problem on this occasion, but I did feel the waitress put herself out far more for 'regulars' than visitors. This might not be intentional, but clearing up... More

Mrs muffins is in a beautiful setting just up a cobble street, the cafe itself is very nice and the staff were great to, the only negative thing for me was the prices, from my point of view the food was over priced, I would visit again but maybe only for a drink

The total lack of customer service was the outstanding part of this visit. Not only were we made to feel very unwelcome, we had to wait for a member of staff to move from an empty table before we could sit down. We were made to feel as if we were imposing when placing our order. Fortunately the waitress who... More

We went to this cafe for a late lunch. It did say on the door that they reserved the right to shut at 3-3:30pm during winter on quiet days, and it was ca 2:45, but as we had no way of knowing whether it was a quiet day we thought we'd see if they were still open. A simple 'No'... More

Off a side street, just off the main drag. Cake was very nice, served with lashings of custard. My wife has had his hers with cream. Lovely latte and very reasonable. One of life's simple pleasures.

Stopped on for elevenses; tea and tea cake. A nice big pot of tea, a jug of water and china cups and saucers all at a reasonable price while our bikes were tucked safely in the courtyard.

Were walking passed and were attracted by the 'dogs welcome' sign outside. We went through to the little courtyard at the back where dogs were welcome. We had an English cream tea, 2 huge scones, jam, and cream, mmmmmmm! Whilst we were waiting for our food I saw a sandwich being delivered to abother table - wow, it looked fantastic.... More

Stopped here last week for a light lunch. Helpful staff as we wanted to eat in the lovely little courtyard rather than inside. They immediately opened it up and set a table for us. Great food and drink. Bonus- free wifi too- just ask for the code Will certainly visit here again
