A superb selection of beers - don't bother with the wine, if you want that, go elsewhere - both draught and bottled, served by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Food is proper pub grub, the meat from the butcher a few hundred yards away and great quality. Superb value and highly recommended.

Have been here many times over the years and always had great pub grub. Very good selection of well kept beers (I haven't tried them all) and many speciality lagers. Called in on Sunday 29th June and watched a brilliant blues band; The Tommy Allen band. Very welcoming atmosphere, lots of happy, chatty people. A great pub !

Called in one evening for a quick meal whilst staying in Ledbury. First impeessions were that this is a real 'local' pub. However, as strangers we were made to feel very welcome by both the staff and one or two of the customers who also chatted. Meals were both very acceptable for the price paid. We had to leave after... More

This little pub is up a delightful road next to the beautifully restored building which houses the Heritage centre. This road full of beamed buildings and is a must to visit when in Ledbury. We were offered a choice of home made pies as well as an adequate pub grub menu. The portions were good and the mashed potato home... More

We popped in as tourists to Ledbury for a snack. My husband remarked it was a nice friendly pub with good beer. We both ordered roast beef sandwiches. I expected triangular sandwiches with thinly sliced roast beef and a tasty garnish. Three huge half sandwiches arrived on each plate. Each sandwich had thick layers of margarine with thick slices of... More
