We made 2 visits to this lovely pub while staying in Great Malvern and visiting Ledbury for the day. It is well situated in a very attractive historic area of the town. We got a friendly welcome from the barman who was very knowledgeable about the different real ales that the pub stocks. We were amazed by the range of... More

We had lunch here the other day.The place is very old and atmospheric. Great choice of real ales and proper cider. Generous portions of food - the faggots are the size of cannon balls, not for the faint-hearted! Crispy chips. Lots of mature cheese in the ploughman's (though a bit too much salad with it for my taste)

This old fashioned (in a good way) pub oozes warmth and friendliness. Toby the barman and the rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming as are the regular clientele so that strangers going in for the first time need not feel out of place. Some places you go into , you just have a quick drink and go but... More

Stopped at the Prince of Wales for a snack lunch today. No wonder it's Herefordshire Camra Pub of the Year, beautiful beers, excellent cheesy chips, lovely convivial atmosphere and a real pro of a landlord. Well done.

Booked in advance and glad we did. Very busy as you would expect for Mothering Sunday. Great drinks to start with, you need to try the Ledbury Dark, then we had roast lamb. Delicious dinner, very large plate full. Tender lamb with all the trimmings. Too full for a dessert. Service was very good. Lovely old pub.

Popped in while visiting Ledbury. Heartened to see such a good choice of real ales. Had a lovely pint and a plate of faggots and mash and the dog was welcome too. Would go back again and definitely recommend it

It's my second time here, and I just had to return. Real ales, and quality lagers, this is a real gem of a pub.

Quaint pub, with good food. My husband had faggots there and reckoned they were the best he had ever had. The pie was fabulous too. Very reasonable prices, which was a bonus! Nice friendly staff. They have some great beers there too, so well worth a visit.
