Great venue for a girls night out

My four friends and I had a great evening here. After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried about the service, but I needn't had been. We had booked a table, and were seated straight away and our drinks order was taken almost immediately. Our order was taken promptly and we did not... read more

Good service but food was just okay... Not an inspiring menu and nobody was particularly impressed. Very expensive for what it is

I won't bang on uneccessarily - the service is good, the food is great and good value and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. Eaten here several times, never disappointed. Really nothing more to say. Well done No. 5 !

a little pretentious for my liking, muesli bowl helping a joke. Bacon sandwich adequate but staff affected think they're pop stars!

My partner and I visited No 5 on the Bridge on Friday 27th March for drinks. We had only planned to pop in and have one or two drinks however when we still found ourselves there at 1am I felt compelled to let everyone know what an amazing evening we had! From the minute we arrived we were pleasantly greeted... More

It is impossible in this bar. What you want, on a night out with friends, not seen in a while and to celebrate a birthday, is to chat and catch up, good service and pleasant surroundings. You won't find that here. If that is what you are looking for, I suggest you go to the Hotel du Vin Bar on... More

Lovely warm bar with stove, great live entertainment, good night out. We almost walked past No.5 on a chilly Friday night as we had planned to go to town. But as it looked lively and warm we decided to go in. And very glad we did. Bar service was very prompt from one of the many young tattooed and bearded... More

A pub menu that is a bit different- battered mackerel fillets with triple cooked chips and minted pea puree was delicious!

My Mum, Sister & I took my Gran for afternoon tea here this afternoon, having seen reviews we thought it looked like a good bet. I'll start with the good - they tried to correct their mistakes, and when they remade our sandwiches, they did it without the watercress, as we had asked. We had the afternoon tea with prosecco,... My friends and I were out celebrating my birthday and after a great meal at the Chesil we headed to Number 5 for cocktails and a bit of a dance. The drinks are a bit pricier than the town centre but this has always been okay as the atmosphere has always been fun and upbeat. Not anymore. We arrived to... More
