My teenage daughter and I decided to go here for Brunch...wow!!! It was great, I had the eggs Benedict, served with Parma ham-my favourite ...and my daughter had smoked Salmon & Scrabbled Eggs-as she said, cooked & served to perfection!! My tea was loose leaf & delicious-& I really should have had a second pot!! Faultless breakfast, so much so,... More

Have been to No 5 Bridge street a few times and can't recommend it more, food was amazing every time, atmosphere is quiet and calm, staff are friendly and helpful and the modern/classic mix in decor is very pleasant. Lovely restaurant in Winchester.

We had dinner at No. 5 Bridge Street on a fairly busy Saturday night. We also stayed the night here. (I'll talk about the hotel experience later on). Rather surprising that the restaurant area was completely empty at 7:45pm, but it quickly filled up. We started with a couple of cocktails that were well-made, and decent value. To start, I... More

We visited on the 28 Dec for lunch. I booked on the phone and was sent an email confirming the booking, which I thought was a lovely touch. When we arrived the staff were inviting and took our coats. It was a beautiful crisp cold sunny day so we we're glad to have a mulled wine available to warm our... More

I've based this rating on my own experience as other members of the party made different choices and therefore had a more positive dining experience than my own. The starter of thinly sliced, multi-coloured beetroot was great and nicely presented. The artisan breads were also good. I really fancied the sea trout and asked if it could be filleted for... More

Popped in for a spot of lunch on a Saturday lunch time. Completely ignored by the staff member at the bar, after asking whether we take a seat ourselves. Food was good, I recommend the Hampshire Burger. £13 with Cheese and Chips. Not bad overall, shame about the staff.

Food seemed expensive but good quality. Service really wasn't great but nice location and atmosphere for it to not bother us. Quiet on Mondays

We popped in for a quick lunch and are very glad that we did. It was delicious, I had a toasted sandwich it was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

Went in for lunch today, with a 3 month old baby in tow, no issues at all. I ordered the wild mushroom risotto and it was the best I've had in years. A lot of locally sourced ingredients as well. Slight issue on the desert and was rectified fairly easy. Would happily recommend and will return

I took a work team of approximately 20 people out for a celebratory meal. I've used 5 Bridge Street before and followed the same formula of booking the private dining area that is the barn (lovely room). On this occasion the service was poor, both in terms of speed and attentiveness. I cannot even concede this was due to it... More
