My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Ennios. A short walk from our hotel we were ready for a relaxed meal after flying to London from Houston to cross the Atlantic on the QM2 to NYC. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. We had seafood and pasta - cannot remember the entries after all the great meals on board... More

The food at Ennios is truly outstanding and the service is great. You are not rushed through your meal and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended

The waiters were really friendly and the food excellent. The atmosphere was also pleasing. They had 50"s rock and roll music. We asked them to change it to Italian and they played Andrea Bochelli which was wonderful.

Chose this restaurant whilst we were in Southampton for the weekend as it had good reviews on TA and was close to our hotel. Four of us went for a meal, we booked a table for 8pm and when we arrived our table was not ready. Starters were all good but main meals were poor, steak was very dry and... More

I've eaten here a few times, and it's usually very good. However, my most recent trip the service was very slow throughout the evening. The drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, and despite repeated requests (and a lot of staff working) the mains also took far too long to emerge, as did the desserts. Clearly the system of who's... Eaten in the majority of southamptons restaurants and was recommended ennios to try. As we're tired I'll keep this brief and to the point; overall a poor show. Ambiance 7/10, service 3/10, food 4/10 (mains 2/10). Evidently a restaurant that's rested on its laurels for too long.

Menu was vast lots of choice As was the wine list - avoid the house it was awful- settled for a beautiful Gavi Service was good Food was delicious and... More

We spent a night at Ennios hotel pre cruise and booked for dinner as well. There is no doubt that the staff are very attentive, but I found the food to be a little bit disappointing and quite expensive. Maybe we just got them on a bad night.

Located right opposite the Red Funnel Ferry terminal, this restaurant was a great find. It's a genuine Italian with great food and wine. I had the Antipasti starter special of the day which was battered monkfish and king prawns, followed by veal escalope served with spaghetti bolognese. Accompanied by a great Italian red wine. Slightly pricey but worth it in... More

Not knowing southampton very well we went on a recommendation, we did not book a table as we had only arrived in Southampton that afternoon, but Sharon who took pity on us found a lovely table so we could enjoy our meal. The restaurant looked like it was full of regulars which is always a good sign, Harry who ran... More
