Great restaurant with nice menu including good specials. We both had fish and this was very tasty. Nice service. Recommended

We dropped into The Olive Tree on a Sunday lunchtime after checking the other menus along Oxford Street and very glad we did. The outside looked inviting with the inclusion of no smoking tables outside adjacent to the large open windows - a nice touch. An interesting menu including a 3 course sunday lunch menu @ £19.95 was presented including... More

I've had lunch today with my boyfriend at the Olive Tree. Decorations and atmosphere looked really agreeable so we chose this restaurant. We had two mains and two lemonades, no starters, coffees or desserts at the end of the lunch: that's why I was very surprised to see our bill of 39,90£! Food was fine but seriously 40£ for a... More

Had seen a few negative reviews about the service, but glad we went. Service to table was polite and prompt. I can't say enough about the attention we received from waitrons and maitre'd all evening. The chalk boards set a high expectation as did the menu on the website and we weren't let down. Starters were fried duck salad with... More

A lovely menu but we only had time for a quick main. The staff were very good and sped us through before we headed for the cinema. Eating out even on a Saturday evening was lovely although it may get a bit noisy later. We would definitely visit again to enjoy the full menu.

Great little place with very welcoming staff. Was a Friday night and luckily the place wasn't full. Mediterranean fish starter for two was superb! And my fish linguine was perfect! All washed down with a bottle of red and coffee. I will always find fault and enjoy eating out! Would of liked the same waitress the hole time perhaps but... More

We went as a family (2 plus two adult children); and had an excellent meal. The service was very good - attentive without being intrusive or over familiar. The fish and seafood dishes were particularly good. We went on a Friday night - it was very busy, but we did not experience another reviewer's problem with excessive noise. Lively, but... More

Seated outside as it was a nice evening and after 15 minutes waiting I had to go inside and ask for menus, waited 25 minutes for starter but that was ok , but after waiting another 45 minutes for main I had to return inside again, order got misplaced supposedly, in total for a 2 course meal it took almost... I love going to the olive tree. I've never had a bad meal, the service is great. It's not the cheapest restaurant in town, but worth every penny. Best to book as it's always busy at weekends
