we visited this restaurant last Saturday evening. It is really small and does'nt have a bar area for pre meal drinks. However, we had booked a table before our trip, and as it is a small place I am glad I did. The food was lovely, lots of specials in addition to the main menu. There were eight in our... More

This is a thriving pizza place run by lovely Italian staff. The pizzas are basic but good, and the real creativity on the menu is with the starters board. We shared a delicious grilled stuffed avocado, followed by pizza, washed down with peroni, an ideal supper after a cinema trip. At busy times you must book - it gets very... More

My wife booked us in here as a surprise for me having done a bit of research on the internet. It is tucked out of the way off the main drag but what a lovely, friendly, family run establishment. The food was to die for and quite reasonably priced. we will be back in the future

We eat quite regularly at Piccolo Mondo, the food is tasty and reasonably priced. My husband and son absolutely love the Calzone pizza, smothered in garlic butter and parsley. The service is always excellent. Well worth a visit.

Tucked away in the city centre this is a little gem. Food is good value 7 it has a pleasant atmosphere. If you're looking for somewhere not pretentious or overbearing this could do it for you. My wife & I visit quite frequently & have not been disappointed.

Visited for lunch with friends, we hadn't booked, but we seated without any problems. Nice range of pizza and pasta on the menu, along with meat and fish dishes. I had the Piccante pizza, which was perhaps smaller than you might get elsewhere. It was very nice and just enough for a lunch. The service was friendly. Will visit again.
