First time at Rosie's, the food is of excellent quality the Scallops amazing, as is everything on the Menu. There is not an extensive choice but what they do they do very very well!!! The staff are friendly and professional and the atmosphere is relaxed with a live Jazz band on Friday and Saturday nights. I will be visiting Rosie's... More

True, the ambiance and service in this stylish establishment were good. But was it the cooks night off? Steak ordered rare was more than well-done and topped with butter strongly dosed with curry powder. Butter Cafe de Paris ??.. madras style would have been a more appropriate description. My vegetable Wellington was a sludgy sauce containing bits of mushroom, and... More

Ate here 3 times in 6 weeks! Service is great. Not too intrusive when you just want to relax with friends, wine is also great with a good selection. The scallops are amazing and the beef wellington perfectly cooked. Will continue to visit here again and again!!! Cant recommend highly enough.

I love this place. It's my favourite place to eat in portsmouth. It's definitely southseas number 1 hidden gem! The food is amazing, service is quick and friendly and the pub itself is lovely. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Very accommodating for parties of all sizes I will continue to visit again and again

The food was amazing, we had a seafood platter which was cooked to perfection. Great dessert too. The staff were nice and friendly. 5 stars!

Best Sunday roast I've tried yet in Portsmouth. Always excellent service. Table for 15 last Sunday and plenty of food critics! But all left satisfied. If you enjoy cooking fresh like I do, it's sometimes difficult to find places in Pompey that live up to your own expectations and 'I've done that at home, but twice as good' mentality. But,... More

Good food and service. Menu has a good choice and was good value. Try and sit away from the jazz players if you want to talk, but it makes a nice background otherwise.

Had eaten at Angry Allys earlier in the evening but there was no cheese on the menu so we headed down to Rosies. I live about 500 yards away but have never been here! Anyway we sat on some high bar stools and had a potion of cheese and a couple of glasses. The band theyhad was excellent, really good.... More

Rosie's Vineyard was a great place to while away a Sunday afternoon, listening to some excellently played live jazz (guitar and saxophone/flute). The food was very very good and the service friendly. The décor was idiosyncratic and somehow fitted the atmosphere perfectly.
