One tip before I write a word. Book a table or you will be disappointed. Italian food with a different flair. The salads are to die for, the ultra thin crispy pizza breads must be tried as a light starter. "Jean Moreau" Chablis at an unbelievable low price. Great customer mix enjoying a large varied menu at very acceptable prices.... More

I really enjoy coming here; in my experience the food has always been exquisitely prepared, and it's got a warm, welcoming ambience. A must for locals and visitors to the area, and the best Italian in the city.

I really fancied a lasagne and went into this lovely little cafe/restaurant and ordered . The staff were very attentive and the menu looked wonderful, I could have chosen all of it. Although they didn't point out the special two course lunch for £8 The food was better than a famous chef restaurant I usually go to who have taken... More

This place was very busy early on a Saturday night when many nearby places were virtually empty. There was a nice atmosphereThere was a large menu to choose from with a significant amount of vegetarian dishes. The food was obviously freshly cooked and the dishes could be tweaked to your tastes. The portions were large and the prices very reasonable.... More

We were in Portsmouth for a couple of hours while waiting for a ferry to the Isle of Wight and decided to have some lunch. Soprano's looked the part, but, unfortunately didn't live up to expectation. We expected to see an abundance of local seafood being an Italian style restaurant right on the coast but what we were served was... More

Terrific food, good service. It's relaxed, reasonably priced, and a place that seems to be frequented by both locals and tourists. Booking recommended, even mid-week.

We have dined here twice now as Southsea locals and it is probably one of our favourite restaurants now. Being a fan of independently owned restaurants rather than faceless chains like those found in Gunwharf Quays or Port Solent, this really delivers with service, quality of food, choice on the menu and atmosphere in the small and intimate setting. Busy... More

No ambiance and dreadful artwork, but the food was ok. Just don't expect authentic Italian - it's more like the English version of an Italian restaurant. Good for a cheap night out though.

We absolutely love this restaurant. The atmosphere and service is spot on, and the food is gorgeous. We will continue to visit again and again!
