Great Food but a bit smoky

Went with my husband for a night out. The restaurant food was lovely and the service great. We would definitely go again. My only gripe was that it was quite smoky, the kitchen obviously do a lot of work on the griddle but their ventilation either wasn't working properly or is not good enough.

This is not a malicious review. Over the years we have been and returned countless times to this and its sister restaurant El Nico's. We came tonight [23rd May 2015] at a fairly quiet time. Arrival We were greeted by a waitress, clearly under pressure "but you'll have to be out by 745". This put tension into what should have... More

Third visit to this restaurant, the food and the food service are top drawer. On the whole the meal was fantastic, 3 of us had 10 tapas dishes, 2 bottles of wine, deserts and coffee for a reasonable £107. On paying the bill I gave the waitress £110 in cash. I 100% expected her to return with the change which... More

Had dinner in here with my wife this week. Nice looking restaurant with some attractive features. Really good selection in the menu and we decided on a selection of Tapas. There was a deal on Sangria so we shared a jug and I also had an Estrella. The food was ready nice and prompt and we were soon tucking into... More

I've been there twice and I was always quite sastisfied. The staff is really nice and caring. The selection of tapas is large and can meet different tastes. Food quality is good and prices are absolutely fair. The second time we had a Paella which, I think, was less intriguing than the tapas they serve but, nevertheless, quite good. If... More

Greeted by beaming faces then served, within 10-15 minutes of ordering simply sensational food - very reasonable too. Didn't realise this place and El Nico (also excellent) were from the same people, both are well worth a visit.

I went a few years ago and found it soso. I believe that since another rival tapas opened up, they've tremendously improved. Being a vegetarian it was quite limiting and boring before. Now there's a great choice and it's ALL so very delicious. My non-veggie partner agreed about them improving and also stated everything he had was very very good.... More
