My colleague and I shared a selection of 5 tapas which was quite adequate for an evening meal. The quality was very good and the food freshly prepared. The calamari was the best I have ever had - absolutely fresh - a change from the frozen rings that are usually served in restaurants. This was my first visit but I... More

There was 9 of us in total, the food was lovely however the chicken in the paella wasn't very good. The portions were quite big so two tapas dishes would be a god sized main meal. The service was really good and the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The chairs however are really uncomfortable. They could do with som cushions.... More

Had three dishes and all were quite good, though the garlic in the spinach dish was burnt which meant it was bitter. When you have just three, fairly small dishes if one of them tastes funny that colours the meal a bit. Good service and nice place.

Ok, so we chose this over Sant Yago (Clarendon road Portsmouth) where we have been before and think is brilliant. 5 family members ordered from the set menu £12.95 3 courses. It was pre made and warmed up, I had the mushrooms (mushrooms warmed up in garlic vinegar (maybe) and oil maybe? It wasn't great, wouldn't eat again, my son... More

Great authentic tapas restaurant, the service is always quick and friendly and very homely. The food and wine menus are perfectly priced and give the authentic tapas experience you want. If you go on a busy night it can look abit dodgy from outside due to the windows being completely covered in condensation, but don't let the exterior put you... More

We have eaten here on several occasions and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service is always friendly even when all the tables are full. Portion sizes for the tapas are generous - we've learnt to order only 3 dishes each! Wine is quite reasonably priced. This is a great local, independent restaurant. Definitely give it a try!

Visited here on a Saturday night with friends. Food was fantastic value for money and very very tasty. Far better than the chain tapas places. My only crtitisism would be the that the restaurant did suffer from the kitchen smoke coming in. Overall a great night, four of us had more food than we could ever eat, bottle of wine,... More

Had dinner at this restaurant on a Friday evening with a friend and had a lovely evening. The service was good and the food was delicious. We ordered 6 tapas dishes between 2 of us and all were extremely tasty. I'd especially recommend the Aubergine dish and the meatballs. The prices have gone up a little since I was last... More

After the experience of our hotel restaurant and the fact that a friend was hooking up with us we decided to eat out. Our daughters chose this place (didn't want a repeat of the veggie issues) and - as it turns out - it was an excellent choice. We arrived around 7 ish and the place was reasonably busy. Decor... Lovely food, great pitcher of cocktail, smashing atmosphere and lovely service... both times recently. Been lucky enough to travel to Europe twice in July stopping over in Southsea both times. Both times enjoying fab food here. Great value for money too. Those establishments rated higher in the town must be incredible to be better than this!
