Wonderful food, really good service, lovely canapes, champagne by the glass. Comfortable area with nice log fire to have pre dinner drinks and canapes while you peruse the menu and terrific wine list. Then through to the main restaurant which is traditional with contemporary elements in a clever mix. They coped very well with gluten free. This is a place... More

We had dinner in the restaurant which is part of a small hotel in a very old atmospheric building - we were a group of 5. The food was overall excellent - particularly the fillet steak which was exceptional - as were our desserts. The starters were possibly a little less impressive (particularly the crab tortellini which was a little... More

Worth driving miles to have lunch at Wesley House: excellent food very agreeably served. If the bread is good , and the temptation is to eat too much of it, you know good things are to follow and they did. Our second visit and we were not disappointed. A real asset for Winchcombe.

Just had lunch. Special 2 course price. Gorgeous white Rioja to accompany. Lovely staff. Can't think of better way to spend Friday lunch time. Get down there and support them before they decide to change.

We went to the Wine Bar for drinks for my birthday to take advantage of the Friday Fizz offer (half price fizz and champagne)! Great atmosphere in the bar and we had a great evening. We shared a few starters, the squid salad particularly good. We then shared a pudding which they made up specially. Would recommend, a great way... More

Along with my family I have probably been visiting this restaurant for around 20 years. Now a little older I brought my wife to have a special meal. We were not disappointed. For starters we had duck terrine and cured sea trout. For main, fillet steak and sea bream. For dessert, Dark chocolate torte and Vanilla panna cotta. The words... More

We have visited the Wesley House a number of times whenever we are in the area and I have to say the food is outstanding, the service impeccable and excellent value for money. We will certainly be visiting again.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and have never had a bad meal here. On the Friday evening we went in July, I was astonished that the restaurant was less than one third full. However, its sister restaurant immediately next door ( the wine bar and grill) was absolutely heaving; perhaps people's dining habits are changing.... More

I moved to Winchcombe this year and have been to all the town bars/restaurants now....this one was definitely bottom of my list! Very disappointing given the party of 10 I took in there! My mum's steak was tough, and we ended up bringing it home for the dog. Definitely not somewhere I would recommend with the other wonderful food you... More

Well on a positive note, I'm pleased you enjoyed the cocktails! Negatively, I'm sorry to have let you and your friends down regarding the food. I do hope you will return to us for more than just a drink and please do introduce yourself, I'd like to make sure you are well looked after next time. More
