Bar & Grill - Good Alternative to the more expensive restaurant

We called into The Wesley House Bar & Grill (alongside the Wesley House Restaurant, and shares kitchens etc with them) on a Tuesday evening, which is when they offer 2 x 6 oz rump steak meals plus a bottle of wine for £30. Otherwise, there is a small 'pub-restaurant'-type menu. The bar was quiet... read more

Having had a few excellent meals at this restaurant some years ago, my recent visit wasn't a disappointment. The service, atmosphere and food all continue to be excellent. The Wesley group in Winchcombe includes both a more formal setting (which is for more fine dining and with incredible cuisine) and a smart casual setting in the Wine & Grill, of... More

I tend to go here for post meal drinks and it's always busy with a good atmosphere, the prosecco served is divine, I have also eaten here on the lunch time meal deal which is priced extremely well for the quality. If you are in Winchcombe give this place a go if only for a drink...

Wesley House has always had fabulous food but in the past might be considered a bit of a treat, however their prices have stayed the same whilst prices else where have crept up but if you stick to the restaurant side rather than the less formal grill you will still get the excellent service and all the little extras which... Frontage to Winchcombe high street was built in 14th C.with a number of tasteful and sympathetic additions, providing bars, 2 distinctive restaurents, 100 plus covers, but still manages to provide `personal space`. Excellent fayre, beautifully cooked and presented. Ambience in Spades, management clearly care and there are a number of events to please the discerning diner .

I have been here a few times, twice for food and both times have had the 6 oz burger, delicious. I also tried the tapas a few weeks ago as a starter and it was fab. The wine bar has a lovely laid back feel and friday fizz offer is just fab, the kind bar person let us buy 3... More

Live Friday Fizz at the Wine Bar but tonight was crazy busy as it's the last Friday before Christmas. The owner Matthew is a brilliant host supported by a great team of staff. Fabulous atmosphere and half price fizz between 5.30 and 7.30pm.

The meal of white cheese mousse with beetroot coulis, roast partridge then cherry cheesecake, preceeded by a variety of amuse bouches, served by friendly and efficient staff in the elegant dining room of this very old building was superb

I visited for my Birthday on a Saturday night. I have eaten here before and so I knew it would be lovely and it was. The service is excellent. The menu was not too large but had a nice selection of reasonably priced food considering the quality of it. The restaurant was pretty much full and with all of the... More
