We stayed in Winchcombe for a week and we found this place to have the best food and was serving dinner late enough after a long day of touring. Pub service is typical of all of UK (very different than N.America) in that you serve yourself a little more, but staff was kind enough as anywhere. Great local vibe.

Went here on recommendation of the locals. I had liver & bacon, and M had Sudely chicken. Really tasty. Didn't have room for a dessert!

The food at the Corner Cupboard is very much above usual pub grub. They have a very full menu, including a great vegetarian selection. The portion sizes were perfect for us, and every dish was full of flavour. Why not 5 stars then? Well, the service was just not up to the same standard. It felt like we were in... More

Very good standard of pub food and generous servings, freshly cooked but staff need more training in customer service. My glass of wine was cleared from the table before I had finished it narrowly missing my nose as the waitress whipped it away.

I took the family to Winchcombe for lunch to see it's picturesque streets, steeped in history. I came across this pub that looked like it had not changed much in the last couple of centuries.....and it hadn't - A great example of an Olde English country pub! We sat out in the garden which has been landscaped well for a... More

Stopped off for lunch whilst walking. Nice real ales on draught, reasonably priced. Sandwich was a bit stale. Disappointing as several locals had recommended this place.

We went for a meal here June 24th as were staying in Winchcombe for a few nights. When we walked into the bar our first impressions were ones of a locals pub as you have to come through the bar, but when we went through to the lounge and dining area the place transformed from a locals pub, to a... Visited the CC last week for a meal in a charming Inn packed with character and local characters We enjoyed T Bone Steak and Sea Bass, all cooked perfectly ….. Top Notch ! The Landlord Jason was cooking at the stove…. makes a change these days with all the pub owners roaming about with the keys to the Inn on... More

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. There was a birthday party on the 2nd even so we were served promptly. The music was not too loud and we enjoyed our meal.
