This is what aTraditional Cotwold Inn should be like...... Excellent food, top quality ales and proper locals with character that can actually make conversation without email and texts! Enjoyed a T-Bone steak...yum and a wonderful sticky toffee pudding

Used the Corner Cupboard three times in one week because it was good value and served in a pleasant manner. Quite a varied menu. Indian shrimp and crayfish Curry was particularly good. Plenty of good English staples as we'll. Had an elderly friend with us who was well catered for. Very pleasant staff.

We have been calling at this pub for over 35 years now; when in the area and normally for a special occasion. Last Saturday we booked a table for 7 adults and two children; to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. (We were staying in nearby Chipping Campden). When we arrived there was something difficult to discribe; but all did not... More

My husband & I had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon,we found everything to our satisfaction and more. Our food was excelant (I had the 'mixed ploughmans' - Brie, cheddar& ham ) we found it to be very fresh, plentiful & tasty. Staff very friendly with quick service but not rushed. Would defiantly return in the future.

The early evening special menu is excellent value. The real ale selection is very good and is kept to a high standard. A good pub meal and beer, well worth a visit.

We were taken here by friends that we had not seen for many years and were very happy with their choice. The old pub is one of the few that has not lost it character by becoming more dining than pure pub. The bar area is very welcoming and a good place to linger and the dining area is attractive.... Went to this pub for an afternoon drink and sat in the lovely beer garden at the back, we noticed the prices of the food on offer between 6 and 7pm ( £7.50 for a main course) so booked a table. The food was cooked to perfection and was served lovely and hot. We had drinks with the meal too,... More

The house red wine was terrible, particularly the Shiraz, even after they very kindly did change it. The menu is over-ambitious for a pub, in our opinion. Why must every pub in England now aspire to be a restaurant, over-stretching, in this case, in our opinion the abilities of the chef. The chicken disk literally swam in white sauce, reminiscent... We had a lovely dinner at The Corner, good menu and very good food. Pleasant dining outside or inside for the less adventurous in the cooler months. Reasonable priced and I'd be happy to return again.
