Late lunch

Stopped for a late lunch after a walk. Nice day so we're able to sit outside in the sun. Good choice of food and plenty of specials on the board. Tried some "home made" lemonade, very refreshing. Ploughmans lunch was plentiful and tasty , as was the burger. Ice creams in cones were available so we... read more

Called in here with my wife for a quick reviving cup of tea the town Tetbury was very quiet and there were only a couple of other people in. We ordered two Earl Grey teas and were pleased to get a big pots with at least two cups in for each. We also ordered a piece of their lemon cake,... More

Just stopped for an eleven's break. Fair choice on the menu, had toasted tea cake with jam which was value for money. I had a pot of tea for one which came in a large enamel teapot, I had four cups and there was still half a pot left. The place was very quirky with unusual graffiti decor but was... More

Stopped for lunch on an off-chance and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Design based on 1970s new age travellers style (that gives away our ages!). If it is warm and sunny, sit in the enclosed rear patio garden, it is delightful. We had fish cakes and a pannini, washed down with a glass or two of wine! Food was good, plentiful... More

What a lovely place to stop for lunch... we wanted something like a pannini etc., and they did lots of different things so was really glad we called in. Sun was shining so sat in the enclosed garden and had a lovely time. Food was good, service was good..when paying we saw the sponge cakes and glad we didn't see... More

There's something 'new age' about the graffiti-daubed décor of this place, but the home-cooked food is good and inexpensive. I had a really tasty fishcake made with leek and cheese and my husband had a lovely home made and generous sized burger. Both came with chips & salad and were served on olive wood platters. Friendly service and generous sized... More

This is the fourth time we've visited the Blue Zucchini as it dawned on us that we hadn't been there for a while. It is slightly out of our way so it takes a bit of planning. I had a ploughman's platter, my wife had the nachos and my daughter a burger, followed by the most enormous slice of mouth-watering... More

This place seems to have a false impression of what it is and that is an overpriced cafe. The "salads" are the most uninteresting I have seen anywhere. A few manky salad leaves pulled out of a bag and thrown into a dish with some tomato does not constitute a salad costing £12 or thereabouts. The burger was very average... More

Just had lunch as we needed a quick bite to eat on the way through Tetbury. Never been so ripped off in all my life. We had a sharing board which cost £11.95. For that, we got barely enough food for one person. A mini pork pie (the sort you buy in a pack of 6 from a convenience store)... More
