What a carrot cake?!

We called in here for a cup of tea whilst visiting Tetbury, we were pleasantly surprised by the vibe. We then saw the cake selection, after much deliberation we went for a pot of earl grey and a carrot cake each. What a piece it was, the biggest slice I've ever seen! Yum! Don't wear too much... read more

A wet and windy Saturday in Tetbury, time for a coffee, no lack of choice in Tetbury! From the outside it looks quite normal, step inside, the welcome and the ambiance was infectious,if you like something a bit different you have to try this place. A bit expensive but i will go back, love it

I really don't understand the negative feedback? If you want sterile surroundings of somewhere like Costa or Starbucks then you are well catered for. If you want something more interesting and unique then you can't be disappointed with the Blue Zucchini. We spend hours in here just simply relaxing over a glass or three of wine or a lunch and... Overpriced, badly presented, dry, tasteless and quite horrid! Yes! Not nice at all for £25! The butchers sausages seemed to have little "proper" meat in them, the two rashers of bacon were dry and fatty and the toast? Well, how can I describe it? Two uneven lumps of bread, hardly toasted and with so little butter added that it was... More

Impromptu visit with the children this morning. Noisy, chaotic, overpriced, lukewarm coffees, dry cake. Incense sticks burning to cover the smell emanating from the toilets. This place is *I think* aiming to be unique. It fails miserably.Chaotic, cluttered, and pretentious. Staff had an air about them,as if we should be thankful to have got a table.... Never again.

Outstanding, friendly, highly efficient staff and great proprietors who know their business. Unique, excellent food and music to write home about. Always pleasant and open hearted to all those who choose to eat there. Outstanding coffee and drinks, uniquely served. What do people want in a restaurant? Superb service and great atmosphere much better than any I visit in London.... More

Pretentious vibe, overpriced drinks, loud and unfitting music, service is hit and miss. Have seen staff carry Tesco bags full of pizzas into the kitchen on more than one occasion. Only reason this place is still is business is due to passing trade. The building and outside space is quite nice, shame about the owners.

Slightly chaotic service but the chicken, sweetcorn, coconut and chilli soup was outstanding with plenty of soft, granary bread. The special Moroccan mint lemonade at £3.75 was served in a 340g jam jar (as were the colas) packed with ice, and a wedge of lemon and cucumber. I have recreated the effect at home and you end up with 100ml... More

Haven't been here for years but was reminded by this visit how much I have enjoyed visiting previously. We had simple, unpretentious food served promptly by cheerful waitresses in quirky surroundings. An interesting and enjoyable music selection too. Perfect place for a light bite.

My wife, daughter and I were pleased to find such a funky, cheery place where we could eat with our dog in tow. The service for a late lunch on a Friday was prompt and attentive. The egg sandwiches and nachos were tasty and and my daughter enjoyed her hot chocolate sundae. There's a good choice on a quite extensive... More
