Rooms were very comfortable , breakfast was excellent and evening meal was superb. When we go back to this area again the Bell will be the first port of call... More

We had a really lovely dinner here on Saturday night. Extremely friendly staff and in generally it was a lovely atmosphere in the dining area. Glad we booked as it was packed out. I thought the cost of the meal - 2 starters, 2 mains, a vodka tonic, two pints of beer and 2 coffees was reasonable at £64. Would... More

The Bell at Stow in the Wold was recommended to us by friends that were vacationing in the Cotswolds last year and loved this restaurant/pub. It is a very nice, comfortable and friendly pub with a wonderful feel and ambiance. We started with the box baked camenbert with delicious apple chutney. We then had the char-grilled harissa chicken with tahini... More

My husband and I stopped by The Bell on our way home from one of normal weekend road trips. We had previously eaten some rather average meals at other establishments at Stow-on-the-Wold and were expecting more of the same. Wow! Firstly, we were unprepared for the friendly reception we received. Everyone on the staff offered a friendly smile and provided... More

We visited The Bell during the very busy Festival week, what a fantastic place! Friendly, welcoming staff, top quality food and drink along with a great atmosphere. Will definitely return and just wish we lived closer. Thanks for a great night and see you all soon! From Steve (Steve & Steve etc!) :)

Went here with friends who live locally. Food was very good and portions the right size. Music (live) was not intrusive Only issue was when the glass of cider was knocked over and the waitress and manager seem more concerned with serving the food rare than the amount of cider which went over my mobile phone.

We called in to this gem of a pub on our way home from Cheltenham. We were warmly welcomed by the two elegant ladies behind the bar and were shown to a nice table by the window, where we waited for our bar meals. I had a chicken salad and my husband had a burger and chips. Both meals were... More

Quick review to say that this was our first time here on the way back from Cheltenham. It was cold and wet outside but warm and welcoming inside. The service was great, the booze was great and the food was great, what more to say? I guess the food prices were slightly on the expensive side but it was good... More

Met friends and although a frequent visitor to Stow, it was the first time I'd been to the Bell. The first impression is of a warm and welcoming pub- beautifully appointed. We were shown to our table and from then on (despite being very busy), had superb service all the way. Great menu, including a comprehensive fish menu and unusually,... More
