Having lived in the Cotswold for over 30 years and having been a regular costumers at Wick Hill, when it was a fantastic hotel,(be it a long time ago!), I suggested to my wife to see if we could arrange a Family Lunch at the hotel, being conveniently situated about half- way for us and for our son and his... We were pleasantly surprised at how good this restaurant is. Tucked away behind the bar room, this restaurant incldes two rooms with views and great ambiance. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts and a dinner. Service was exemplary-friendly and informative, The breakfast fare was typical - choices of Continental or hot, and hot could be full... More

We stayed here on the night of 13th July, our room was excellent and although we had read mixed reviews of the restaurant we decided to eat in. Our experience was fantastic, the dining room was very comfortable with lovely views across the Cotswolds. The service was attentive and very prompt and the meal was absolutely delicious. We would recommend... More

We stayed here for a wedding, which the hotel organised to perfection. The ceremony was well--managed and the meal was excellent. The hotel has stunning views of the countryside which we enjoyed from the terrace late into the evening. The food at breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked and very enjoyable.

We stayed overnight at the hotel on a DBB package and there was a table d'hôte menu included. We chose from this menu as there were some fantastic choices. Both starting with chicken Caesar salad, followed by slow roasted belly pork then caramel sponge pudding. All courses were absolutely fabulous in taste, textures and presentation. We don't often return to... More

We have visited the Cotswolds in early December for the last 16 years and always find a good (named) restaurant at which to eat. We were most impressed with the food here and it was certainly as good as a couple with more prestigious reputations. I could bore you with our choices, but it was the presentation, the flavours and... More

We were very disappointed with our experience at the Wyck Hill House restaurant. Firstly, the chef did offer us a second option for veggie main course. We took this up. The portion size was more starter size than main course. The risotto was good. The most disappointing aspect was the service. No matter how good the food, the waiting staff... More

My wife and I have stayed at the hotel twice and eaten in the restaurant four times. We stayed in the main house once, the room was large and very comfortable (even if the floorboards creaked a little). The second stay, last weekend, was in the Orangery, again large room with full width patio doors onto a private terrace which was... More

We went with friends to sample the restaurant in the hotel they intend to arrange a function. We went midweek to see if it was popular or empty. We found a well attended restaurant in beautiful surroundings and fantastic internal period decor. The menu selection was excellent and interesting in its combinations. When selected, the presentation was exceptional. When eaten,... More

Did not stay overnight, but had drinks with friends who live in the area. Felt very much like an old people's home, tea was cold, coffee much too strong. The staff were ok but not very enthusiastic. Wouldn't go again.
