Evening meal for 2, one person gluten-free

Well, it was lovely to be here again! It is very relaxing and service has always been very good. I had the mussels starter which was delightful, followed by a lamb main course, which was very nice but a bit too much for me... so my husband helped me out! All-in-all, a good evening out. :)

Good beer, good food, plenty of space despite a large local group in there when we called in for lunch. Very good service too.

I have been a few times. A smaller and less interesting menu has been matched by an absurd hike in price - £15.25 for sausages (3) and mash. The vegetables were tired. Now struck off the confidence list.

A beautifully decorated pub, great food and friendly service. We spent a lazy afternoon chatting in the courtyard

Lovely setting opposite the lovely yew trees of the apainswick church. Sober but elegant interior. Also reflects the quality of the food. Had 2 starters: the tomato and basil soup and chorizo/ brochette. Companion had lamb chops, sweet potato mash and veggies. Lovely food. A bit more expensive then usual in a pub but totally deserved.

The Falcon is right in the middle of the village and has the classic combination of being a bar and a restaurant. The atmosphere is nice. Always people present in the bar and a good menu to choose from for a tasty dinner with good wine.

We were recommended this pub for lunch and thought the panini and chips would be a quick and safe option. The waitress came back three times to the table to check the order, which arrived 25 minutes later wrong. The panini was totally cold and the 'three cheese, onion and tomato' arrived with just a few slabs of brie and... More

A beautiful pub in the heart of a quaint Cotswold Village. This is the heart of village life a pub for visitors and locals alike. It's a well decorated rustic pub clean and the hub of the local community. The food here is hearty, well cooked and very tasty. I had the cockles to start which brought back memories, I... More
