Visited yesterday evening for a meal whilst in holiday with friends. Initially told a 15 minute wait for a table (this was then a 30 minute wait) Sat down, ordered a starter Camembert which came very quickly, but was nowhere near worth £12.50. We were then left waiting for our mains for over 40 minutes, no one came to apologise,... More

Called early evening and we were imediately shown to our table. we ordered drinks, which we specified was requested prior to our food. Unfortunatly our starters arrived, yes before our drinks and before cutlurey and serviettes had been placed on our table. This although there were plenty of people walking back and forth all the while! We had a Sunday... More

We had a great evening here. The duck salad was perfect. The sausages and mash perfect comfort food! The puds were enjoyed too. A lovely welcome with great staff. Easy parking just a few minutes away.

This was my first visit, my wife's second, so we went on her recommendation. I cannot fault the food. Everything we ate was delicious and the portions were large. However, the service was amateurish. The seats were far too low for the table. We were given cushions to sit on and told we could have as many as we wanted.... More

Ate at the Fleece last night for the first time. Both courses, starters and mains, (there was no room left for desert) were fantastic and our table of four left nothing on the plate. We started with the fishermongers and butchers sharing platters and then savoured the fish of the day (seabass filliet) x2, the beef burger and the rotisserie... More
