Friendly, well priced.

The staff are really friendly, the food is beautiful and reasonably priced. A large selection of drinks. Family friendly and shows all the big rugby/football games.

I have to say that Saturday lunchtime in a pub with a huge television screen showing rugby isn't my idea of heaven. The crown is spacious & we were in a corner near a log fire so it wasn't intrusive. The menu is interesting & very good value. We were three adults & two children & all enjoyed our lunch... More

Have been to this pub many times over the years, it is a good central pub in Cirencester with a good atmosphere. Enough of a choice at the bar to please all. There is a decent choice of food, but don't expect a la carte, this is a pub and it is pub grub.

Visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the food. Had the burger with cheese and bacon. Very nice. The place was quiet but was worth the visit. Go and try.

Came across this pub whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch during a day visit to Cirencester - friendly staff, fast service but NOT fast food and a great, varied menu made it a brilliant experience! The burgers come highly recommended!

Looks like the JD Wetherspoon interior designers have been busy here, but to good effect. A woody, spacious pub with a few separate areas and what looked like a function room in the back. Much too cold for checking the outside. A good range of beers and ciders and a generous menu with a good portion of Fish & Chips... More

Couldn't ask for more. Traditional pub grub at a decent affordable price. Staff all friendly and surroundings are great.

We were through Cirencester today and while wandering through the town spotted the Crown. It had a great location right at the centre of town, and the smell of their wood fire was very inviting. The whole ambiance was great -- warm with lots of seating and quite a friendly bunch of patrons. The menu is good, with tempting specials... More

We tried the Crown in Cirencester for lunch one Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was good and the pub was packed as the England v Australia rugby match was on. We were lucky to get a table by the roaring fire and settled down to read the menu. The choice and cost was reasonable and once we saw the size of... More
