Visited yesterday with a group of friends for a pre-Christmas get together. We don't very often get to have lunch together so we were all looking forward to it. Upon arrival, the pub looked welcoming (if a little empty for this time of year...lets be honest it was pretty much deserted and now I know why), and we ordered food... More

Stayed in Cirencester for a festive break. The crown was a great choice for our first night. Lovely local with traditional furnishings and very tasty homemade food - the burger was simply delicious and we had a nice spot right by the roaring fire.

Ordered 2 Beef Sunday lunch which was some of the worst food I have ever been given. After trying some of the vegetables and the meat we put our cutlery down and walked out. Disgusting.

Two couples arrived around 6 P.M. and we had two fish and chips and two glazed hams. Plus drinks. Food arrived within minutes which leads us to think it was sitting or microwaved. Sort of tasteless. Chips soggy. Wine was plonk. Expensive - came out to 80 pounds with no desert. Disappointed to say the least though service was very... More

We ate here twice while on a short brake to the area. The food we had was freshly made and filling at an affordable price. Drinks are a little expensive but this is normal for the area aparently. The staf where friendly; we would deffently recommend this pub, plus they allow dogs. So a big fumbs up from us. "Well... More

This town centre pub seemed to be popular with young trendy locals & has a fairly basic interior . However , the service was pleasant & the the food very tasty & good value .

Walking in you know it's going to be a traditional pub food experience, the staff are friendly and the food is value for money. We went in for light lunch so I only had the chicken goujons, which were pricey for the amount you get, but still were very nice so I don't begrudge paying what I did. If you... More

After scouring the streets of Cirencester for somewhere to have lunch on a Monday afternoon we happened across The Crown. A surprisingly diverse menu which amply catered for adults and kids alike. Freshly prepared and arrived promptly. Pleasant staff too. My Club Sandwich had plenty enough in it to keep me going to dinner time. The pub itself spans a... More

Had a fab day out in Olde Worlde Cirencester and lunch in the Crown. Very informative online menu catering for dietary preferences. Staff friendly, food arrived promptly. Plenty of tables, lovely atmosphere. Will certainly visit again !
