My wife and I visited the Daffodil on Saturday 6th of December and cannot praise the whole experience enough. The restaurant is a special place and feels amazing and if you get chance to go when the Jazz is playing it lifts things even higher. The food and wine were excellent but what we loved more then anything was the... More

We recently had our staff party with you, and I have to say the food was excellent. The whole group were very impressed, and the service and attention to detail from the staff was second to none! Highly recommended and we will all be back1

Not the most prepossessing of places from the outside, The Daffodil is an old 1930's cinema that has had a make over as a restaurant. It retains its 'circle' and the 'stalls' double up as a dance floor and seating area. The kitchens are behind the stage, which on our recent visit, showcased the Cate Cody Trio bringing us the... Nice atmosphere, good service if not a little formal, food excellent, wine reasonable, but what a pity our table was over 1 hour late (manger did make his apologies) but no free drink gesture, I would have expected that from a restaurant charging £35 to £50 plus per head. Table booked for 9:15 but we did not get to eat... More

An interesting building but poorly served by parking. The menu looks interesting but the quality of the food I felt was not up to standard on either of the two visits I've made there. For the price I expect better than this.

I dined at The Daffodil in late November for my birhday which was a surprise treat from my best friend. We enjoyed a delicious meal, great service and naturally the compulsory heady red wine. We were seated in a cosy area of the restaurant where we indulged ourselves, being attentively waited on in a very discrete manner. Thank you The... More

A fantastic experience for something that has long gone out of fashion. The choice of drinking tea cannot be beaten. The sandwiches and cakes were wonderful. I have recommended The Daffodil to so many people.

Went to the Daffodil for a graduation meal with family and the whole experience was very good. The moment we arrived our coats were taken from us and we were invited upstairs to the bar area overlooking the whole restaurant. The waiters took our orders of cocktails and brought them to our table. When our table was ready we were... More

I've been a regular visitor to the Daffodil - a converted Art Deco cinema in Cheltenham. Eating there is a fun experience- would always recommend starting off with a cocktail in the balcony bar. For a recent meal with friends, we decided to try the Discovery menu @ £50 a head for five courses plus coffee. Food was very good,... More

Five of us went for afternoon tea back in September to celebrate my birthday. We requested to be seated upstairs in a booth and we were lucky enough to get one. The food was really good and was really filling, we couldn't actually finish it. It consisted of sandwiches, scones and cakes. I would prefer to skip the cakes and... More
