I took my partner to the Daffodill for afternoon tea on a weekday afternoon for my partners 30th birthday. I booked on the day and the staff were very helpful on the phone. We arrived and were wowed by the decor, we both felt like we had gone back into the 1940s and there was period music playing in the... More

Everyone locally recommends that we try the Daffodil as it has such a good reputation, so I booked a reservation for a Friday night to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were given a friendly greeting in the foyer of the old converted cinema and our coats were stored in the cloakroom which was a nice touch. We were quickly shown... More

We have been wanting to go to The Daffodil in Cheltenham for some time and had read a lot of great reviews, but when we walked in behind a massive hen party the snob in me thought I had made a mistake. I needn't have worried though it was lovely. Lovely place and food. We had the tasting menu at... More

Out of four of us, two ordered roast turkey with trimmings. Sprouts were inedible and turkey was of a very inferior quality which was pointed out to the deputy manager. We stated that we had returned the meals and were not even offered a coffee as some form of apology and advised to make ourselves known on a subsequent visit.... More

I have eaten here on a few occasions most recently Christmas Day. The food has always been great and it was no different on Christmas Day, although not the best meal I have had there. The service really stands out for me. For example, we had a 4 month old child with us, who happened to be a little unsettled.... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal in this very unusual restaurant. The service, along with the food was superb. We followed it up with cocktails in their bar. Would certainly recommend it and would visit again.

I don't live in Cheltenham and was visiting through work after a stay of one weeks field training in marketing. Walked in to this restaurant for a dinner after work one evening because it seemed nice from the outside and some work colleagues had mentioned it to me before and said it was really good. I was shown in and... More

Not my first review of this fab Art Deco Restaurant Mecca in Cheltenham and once again it has not disappointed us - fantastic service (being greeted by your name is always a winner in my book) We had a perfect table with a fantastic view of the Kitchen Theatre. The menu has a very good selection to choose from and... More
