You are never disappointed at The Daffodil. The food is second to none and very good value as is the service and the ambience. From the Gin and Tonic in the Circle Bar to Screen 1, 2 and 3 in the main restaurant it is always a delight and pleasure to be here. Thank you for another memorable evening.

Highly recommended for the decor alone. Lovely food and perfect ambiance. We had cocktails before the meal and I would recommend making the most if the night by getting there early to try them.

I'd go here just for the cocktails - they really are fantastic. Give the French Martini a try :-). The food is great too and the restaurant itself is well designed and interesting. We always book in a booth upstairs and love being able to see into the kitchen. Staff are friendly and service is good.

Great atmosphere from the word go. Staff very attentive. The building and decoration are art deco and very beautiful. We were in a small group in a large room but it felt nice and intimate. The jazz band were very good and added to the already great atmosphere. The food was presented well although my monk fish, which tasted wonderful,... More

We came here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary with some champagne in the bar. It was a lovely building and a good atmosphere, our bartender was great and gave us very good service. Would definitely recommend!

Visiting from London, we wanted somewhere that was different and representative of Cheltenham and The Daffodil seemed a good choice as has been there a long time but has recently changed hands. The building is intersting and has a nice history and they have a kind of themed menu to do with the cinema and it worked well I thought.... More

Went here with 2 girlfriends and had fabulous cocktails followed by a really yummy meal. The main reason for coming here, great though the food was, is the stunning convention of a 1930's cinema into a really beautiful restaurant. This would be a great place to go and get dressed up in vintage clothes and really go to town on... More

We found the Daffodil purely by chance, but what a find! Formerly an art deco cinema, it has been beautifully converted into a restaurant on the ground floor, and a coffee/cocktail bar on "the upper circle", retaining many of the original features and adding modern ones too. Unfortunately we did not have time to try the restaurant itself, but treated... More
