A group of us had drinks in the beautiful Art Deco bar area before taking our table in the restaurant. Staff at both bar and restaurant were excellent. Food was delicious, particularly their taster menu to share...the taster tray of deserts for 2 were delicious.

A converted picture house - felt like we were starring in the Great Gatsby - beautiful. Monday night has live jazz and you need to book. Food was tasty and the staff were attentive. A 'special occasion' restaurant as the prices were around £60 per head for two courses - delicious.

We booked our table a week or so ago and the Daffodil rang to confirm our booking the morning of our lunch. We had booked a table for two at 1pm. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist and shown to our table. Our meal was first class, the food was full of flavour and so fresh, the staff attentive... More

We had the 'The Dailies' menu and pre ordered as there were 12 of us. The food was nice but not very imaginative - I had the open chicken pie which was in a ramekin with a separate pie top. Tasted fine but just mash no veg - more pub food really. What happened to those nice salads and light... More

Hip setting man, No really, a lot of time, love & money has been spent on creating a excellent dinning experience, staff members, look like they enjoy their work, chefs producing some quite delicious food, a wine cellar to die for & more Champagne than a Toffs swimming pool ! Jazz lunches add a different dimension to this elegant restaurant,... More

Food not bad though very rich. Key issue was how expensive it was. We paid 115 for 3 course meal for 2. Could have got comparable one for much less at places likes flynns or hotel du vin. Drinks particularly expensive - sold in 125 ml glasses or 300 ml carafes. Overall not a bad meal and service and ambience... More
