Really enjoyed our stay, perfect service and surrounding. Very central to the town centre, walking distance to all the shops. Very good choice on the menu especially the fish pakora.

Table for four on a Saturday night. Starters, main and complimnetary desert (sugar milk sweets) Highlights were fish pakora starter, goat on the bone main. Both superb. Above average and authentic tasting, not Anglicised. Fairly pricey but worth it for the e xperience.

First impression is of a clean establishment, tables nicely laid and dressed with clean table cloths. The hostess was welcoming and attentive but not intrusive. Nice surroundings to eat inside. Food served was hot, a very tasty fish dish and fresh sweet Peshawari nann bread. Given small complimentary sweet dessert. So 2 mains, 2 starters, 1 side and 2 drinks... More

OK meal early in evening before the theatre spoilt by over talkative owner with noisy grandchild running around! Not what I expect in an upmarket and pretty pricey curry house.

A nice range of unusual but very tasty Punjabi dishes - not the usual oily Anglicised offerings. Try the Goat on the bone - to die for! Very good value for money and with very friendly hosts. Close to the Town Hall. Also has rooms.

Wasn't sure having seen previous review. But went there this weekend. Food was amazing. Real Indian food not just curry mile catering. The food was well presented and the service was good. Actually knowing Indian food as well as I do I can safely say it was well prepared, and can see its not bright red and full of rubbish.... More

We were told when we booked the food was very different to any other Indian food we had eaten, this was not really the case as it was pretty much the same as every other Indian meal we have had. The food was perfectly nice, the onion bahjis were nicely spicy and the main meals fine. The restaurant lacked in... More

Very poor experience. We took our son who was home from university, unfortunately we chose this indian restaurant. The food was very bland and poor quality meat. The lady serving, although trying to be very helpful just doesn't get it. We were given stodgy doughy things as a complimentary desert, which I didn't really want but tried to eat a... More
