Went with as a party of 5 adults and one baby. I first off would recommend booking a table before hand as it was very busy even on a Thursday. The seating options are snug but lovely. The service was a little slow but honestly the poor folk seemed so busy. The gentleman waiting us was really friendly and very... More

I visited the Well Walk this weekend with friends and was amazed at the service and beauty of the tea rooms. We were well looked after and the food was amazing. Being gluten free was not even an issue here and the selection of cakes and sandwiches matched those that my "normal" friends were able to enjoy. Will definitely be... More

I have been here twice, once I took a German friend and we enjoyed an array of cakes, sandwiches, tea and scones, all tasty, beautifully presented and homemade. I wanted to take my friend somewhere quintessentially English and thought afternoon tea was perfect, she loved it here as it was pretty and girly. We were so full after! The staff... More

Please see review from Jacobs Nanny. Here are the photos I took on the day! The large slice of cake is a cake called 'Lumberjack cake' truly delicious. I looked up the recipe on line the next day and baked one myself!

We bought our parents here for lunch before a matinee at the Everyman theatre. Loved it and it exceeded our expectations. Great choice and if you look at our photos you can see we did our best to work through the menu. Lovely friendly staff and can't wait to return in May when our relatives are over from Australia. This started of as an antique shop with a tea room, now I would say it's a tea room with antiques. There are a couple of floors with tables and it's like being in someone's house in the 1940's/50's with proper embroidered tablecloths and floral china. Everywhere you look there are interesting objects, some old, some made from vintage wood... More

A quirky cafe in an antique shop in the oldest shop in Cheltenham and just 5 minutes walk from the Bus Station where the original Town Well stood. We were lucky to get one of only 5 tables downstairs while the upstairs had a Hen Party in full flow. Numerous people were turned away although with a little patience waiting,... More
