wonderful Well Walk Tea Rooms

11 of us spent a week in Cheltenham, and before we left decided to enjoy a cream tea. A quick search pointed us to the Well Walk Tea Rooms, where we were greeted like lost family. The staff and service were exceptional and they even made the two dogs feel welcome. I have nothing but praise for the... read more

Fab place for tea and cakes and light snacks for anyone but if you are GF you will be in cake heaven!! Pretty much every dish in there is gf including the quiche. I am going back for food patrol (obvs!) but so far can highly recommend the almond and cherry and coconut and courgette cakes.

We found this fabulous tea room after walking around the city, trying to avoid the generic, chain coffee chains. We were so happy to find this little treasure. The tables were laid beautifully, we were greeted with a happy smile and served promptly. A good choice of tea's, always a good sign, and a good selection of cakes! If in... More

My father, cousin and I had high tea at Well Walk in June. It has a lovely atmosphere and the tea, scones, cakes, and sandwiches were far beyond what I had expected. I expected everything to be good, but I was blown away. They have a large selection of teas to choose from and even have a gluten free option... More

We called here SundayAug 9th..We found it small but clean - tables laid with quaint floral cups & saucers & tiny tea plates + knives & forks - as if for cake . The menu was adequate for a tearoom and we chose a pot of tea for two - i then chose cheese & tomato sandwiches and my husband... More

Visited with a few friends last week....not exacatly a usual outin for a group of 16/19 year olds! We had great fun-the cakes were amazing and the tea was good. Our waitress (purple top hat?) was very friendly and willing-dispite looking a little tired! Only point is that as I am dairy intolerant (ad vegan when not eating out) there... More

I had my first ever Afternoon Tea here. Food was great, very good quality and the tea was just right. Highly recommend to all. Very quaint and interestingly decorated.

After visiting the main and only museum and art gallery why not pop round the corner and have tea at this wonderful place. You will not believe the decor and the originality of the whole place. The building has been standing for about 300 years and has had a variety of functions. The current enthusiastic owner will at the drop... More

Although I really wanted a champagne tea, I chose to come here due to the good reviews. We had a table upstairs and it felt a little musty and close on a hot day, but the windows were open and by the time the cake came I didn't notice!! We had one full tea to share, plus one hot drink.... More

I booked the Well Walk Tea Room for 12 of us to attend my friends Baby Shower. I wanted this on a Sunday and the tea room is normally closed on a Sunday - however, as there were more than 10 of us they opened especially with no booking fee. I was able to get there slightly early to decorate... More
