The Well Walk Tearoom is one of the oldest shops in Cheltenham and the family-run owners have been sympathetic to that age. Once sad and derelict looking they brought it to life through much blood, sweat and tears. Its cluttered and cramped which makes it all the more endearing, particularly on a drab grey day. Good variety of cakes, scones... More

We took my Mum here for afternoon tea, and were completely charmed. The vintage setting and decor is delightful, as is being served tea in proper china; there's even a chance to browse some of the vintage materials on sale. Most importantly, the tea selection is excellent and the food was great!

I recently took my mum here for her 70th birthday, Wow, what a lovely little place. We went for a lovely afternoon tea which included a large plate full of various sandwiches along with a lovely selection of cakes, We were both totally stuffed after. We were giving a few special teas to try as well. It gets very busy... More

Popped in here for a brief snack - tea, toasted tea cake and cake - and it was a little odd. It is a vintage tea room with charming wainscotting, tabel cloths, china teapots, cups and saucers, and charming staff. BUt as part of the space is also given to the sale of vintage nick-nacks as well, it feels a... More

Very friendly, quaint tea room. A bit cramped when busy, but reasonably priced. A good place to go for a proper cup of tea in pleasant surroundings. Staff are very friendly.

Have been to this tea room four times so far, and every time find the staff very helpful and friendly, the tea room is very quaint, tea served in china teapots with china cups, food plentiful. I would recommend this tea room to anyone visiting Cheltenham, but be ware you will need to book on a Saturday, it is so... More

My girlfriend took me here as a birthday treat. Had a tasty cream tea. Portions were generous, especially the huge clotted cream mountain and prices were really reasonable. Nice little place and I would definitely recommend it. Extremely unique.

I came here for my Hen Party last month & had such a fantastic time. The customer service was excellent, the staff were very welcoming & they didn't mind when we stayed past the time we were meant too (we just didn't want to leave!!). The food was delicious & seemed never ending & the tea was flowing in some... More

Ordinary slightly tired place with average choice of pastry and cakes. All cakes are filled with cream, too fatty for our liking. Coffe was average. From the reviews expected something different. The waitress forgot our order and we had to remind her after waiting for a while. Everyone was polite and the place is clean. Just don't expect soothing extraordinary... More
