Lovely afternoon spent with friends eating cake. So good. Service ok. Ambience - most interesting. Good variety especially on a very cold day.

Some friends and I had the full afternoon tea here, and it was fantastic. Not little bits of this and that, with finger sandwiches, but generous, varied sandwiches with big slabs of cake, lots of choice and some little bits like macaroons, strawberries and tiny tartlets thrown in. To top it off, real scones with real clotted cream. I love... More

Excellent value for money especially the "party menu" more delicious cakes than anyone could possible manage on top of plenty of lovely sandwiches with an array of different fillings. The staff particularly make this place even more special with their down to earth friendliness, attention to detail and attentive service. Worth a visit but best to book in advance as... More

Just chose this place by chance since other places were full. Really impressed, old English style, nice atmosphere, good service, tea and cake. Worth a visit if you want somewhere authentic English.

The quintessential tea room for Olde England. So much historical atmosphere...walls adorned with tapestry, old framed paintings ..up twisting stairs to the second floor overlooking the street. Tea served in a miriade of old China cups and saucers. Staff so friendly. They must keep fit running up and down the stairs carrying full trays, Soup was great. Quiche and salad... More

Had a weekend break in the Cotswolds and found this gem for a lovely afternoon tea. The courgette cake was amazing in particular, but nothing could be faulted. Service fast and friendly and lovely hot drinks! Very clean too, and a lovely experience indeed. Thank you for the tips on things to do, we had a great time and will... More

I was taken here yesterday for my birthday. Lovely sandwiches, amazing cakes. Courgette cake was my favourite! We visited on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy which was lucky as we hadn't booked. Friendly staff, great service and excellent value for money! We will definitely be returning

I was part of a pre-booked 17 lady hen party who visited the tea room this weekend. With strawberry and fish allergies sprung on them at the last minute they coped brilliantly. The tea room is quirky with antiques also available for sale. Great selection of sandwiches and home made cakes. There was tea and coffee brought to our tables... More
